Sturdy and Strong
I never used one of these before but needed an adjustable stand to fit my 24 inch monitor between two shelves because the included one made it too high. The build quality is immediately apparent...it feels heavy and substantial. The arm tension is rather tight but the hold is rock steady and since I don't intend to move it around much, there was no need to adjust the gas piston. It comes with all the mounting screws and hardware and is easy to set up once you determine where you want to clamp it onto the desk. Very versatile positioning options, saves a ton of desk space and feels super secure. I may never use a standard stand again.

Great for the price considering the gas spring. May wobble a bit on not-so-sturdy desks.
The gas spring in this monitor mount is very good for the price. Its a VESA mount so it would work with just about anything. Clips to the desk or any surface, really. Very strong, able to hold my 32 inch monitor. My only gripe with this mount is that it does wobble a bit if theres any kind of motion going on on your desk. If you have a very sturdy, heavy duty desk, you probably wont have to worry about that too much. The clamp is easy to move, the monitor is easy to put on, and has a bunch of different adjustments and tension knobs that will allow you to get exactly what you need in terms of monitor position.

Good quality.
For the price this item is good quality and works perfectly. I purchased another more expensive one for my other monitor and I like how this one functions better. However, cable management is not that great. But overall 5 stars for the quality and price to performance.

Great product for the price
It's nice, adjustable, aesthetically pleasing, while doing the honors of freeing up desk space. 10/10 would buy again

sags even under weight limit
good for the price but will sag with bigger monitors, my monitor only weighs 11 pounds and it still sags but it is a 32 inch monitor, but weight matters more than size for monitor arms, id only get this if you had a 24 inch monitor or below.

Why have I waited so long to buy one of these? Great for up against the wall use.
I have a 27 inch monitor that i use for my mini studio. I was running out of room on my desk and thought about getting a monitor stand, but was concerned that my desk was up against a wall. I looked at plenty of stands online and decided to give this one a try because of the features and it was in my budget. It came the next day and when looking at the arm, there was a yellow warning tag on it stating that it was under high pressure and to use two people to remove the strap that was holding it in a closed position. I noticed that the strap was loose and didn't appear to be under stress. I loosened the strap a little more and let it slide off while I held the arm with both hands and slowly let it open. In my case, it wasn't anything too sudden or violent and I had no problem with any sudden expansion. There wasn't' much to assemble except the bottom clamp which just hooked onto a bracket on the arm. I tried sliding the mount from the edge of my desk a could of times, but the clamp part kept coming off, So I got some duct tape to join the two pieces while I slid the bracket in place. It was easier than expected and there are 2 positions to attach the clamp to the bracket for thiner or thick desks. Mine was less than an inch and I was able to tighten it from the side of my desk instead of having to get underneath it.Since my desk is against the wall, I placed my mount to the side of where the monitor would be used. If I were to place it directly behind the monitor it would limit how far back I would be able to place my monitor. Being on the side works pretty well and allows me to move it up and down and back and forth. I use a dj mixer and found I could place it low so it looks like one unit while hiding a lot of cables, hubs and hard drives. This looks way better than the old set-up i had without the mount. Having the bracket to the side does limit some of the way to move the monitor, but I do not plan to do any major swiveling from left to right. The mount appears to be really study and has no problems supporting the monitor. There are adjustment for the tension to move the monitor up and down. There were long and short screws for a mounting plate to attach to the monitor, although there was no clear instruction on which ones to use for best results.I definitely would recommend it you're up against a wall and want something that is pretty adjustable. This has to be one of my favorite computer accessories purchased in a long time.

WORTH EVERY PENNY
I genuinely love this thing with all of my heart. It’s simple to install, though needs a little elbow grease to get it to attach to your computer right. And you need a good desk for it to be attached to. It’s sturdy, doesn’t dip over time, and can hold positions forever. It looks good too, and it comes with covers to help fit your cables so they’re out of the way ^^ definitely worth your money
