A New Twist on the beloved N64 controller!
What an amazing little controller. I love it! Just ordered my second one. Love you Retrobit! Doesn’t have a trigger Z button on the back but here it’s a left and right shoulder button, it’s very intuitive and I had zero issues. Controller is well built and very comfortable in the hands. This is one of many Retrobit controllers I have :)

Why didn’t they have these when I was a kid!
I absolutely love this controller! Most n64 controllers are hit and miss with the quality you get but this controller works great! It’s super easy to use and works great on all n64 games. It is really comfortable to hold and it supports the rumble pack and memory pack, which work well also. Great controller!

Teeny tiny
Extremely small, only good for a child between 3 and 8 or so.

Great for most games!
The Tribute 64 is a solid controller. Although no analog stick is quite as accurate as the original controller, this one comes quite close. The controller has a premium feel to it. The analog stick is very accurate and although it can be a little more sensitive, it is easy to adjust to it. The controller is comfortable for playing long hours and the buttons were very responsive and had a satisfying click every I pressed them. The only problem with this controller is the D pad. The location is quite off from the handle making it awkward to use it. Not to mention, it is quite small. For most people, this won't be an issue since the D pad wasn't utilized in most Nintendo 64 games. However, if you do have those games in your library that require it such as fighting games. I would recommend looking elsewhere. A good compromise I found is that while my old Nintendo 64 controller analog stick is worn out, the D pad still works great. I just switch between controllers now. While I use the Tribute 64 for most of my games, I will switch it with the original for the fighting games. Should you get a Tribute 64? For most people, the answer is a solid yes. For all of the beloved games that utilize the analog stick, it's almost a no brainer. Especially for such a reasonable price.

Perfect for smash and smaller hands
The larger joystick is PERFECT for a game like smash bros, and hits each edge perfectly. It's makes a very satisfying noise as it hits each notch. The d-pad is surprisingly easy and comfortable to use despite it's placement. The shoulder buttons fit my fingers real well, but my friend with larger hands said he wasn't the biggest fan. Playing Ocarina was a bit weird because I've been using a standard n64 controller. The 10ft cord is perfect, reaches my couch just fine. It feels quality and comes in a very nice box! My rumble pack worked well with this controller too.Overall, my smaller masculine hands fit very well, it feels and looks official, and everything works flawlessly. I only wish they had more color options :(

Solid controller
Good controller just wish the d pad was switched to the left more. Solid stick response in perfect dark but clumsy to use specials in wwf no mercy. Buttons feel like originals and I love that the z trigger is on both sides akin to more like l2 r2 on a playstation controller.

A good controller that doesn't last.
Overall it's a pretty decent "Hori clone" and the stick is plenty good, but the buttons do NOT last.I'm on my 3rd failed Tribute 64 and I've never had one last more than a few months, so I really can't give it a positive review.I'm a non-typical user and I probably use it harder than average, but I've had 2 controllers (in different batches) A button fail (the most used button) in short order within a few months of use. The button gets "sticky" (doesn't return to neutral as quickly as it should) and eventually starts getting stuck pressed down.I'd gladly pay an extra $5 for a more durable controller, but I've spent more than getting a used real Hori on these controllers now and a real Hori would likely last much longer.

Dead zone is a bit smaller than the regular sticks, but were talking like 8 grams vs 10 grams the actuate. The upper bounds are great! It doesnt feel slippery at all.Overall a really great controller
