Nice burner.
This is an absolutely beautiful burner and works well, however, the paint on the lid comes off on the first burn if the flame hits it. The only reason for three stars is because of the lid otherwise it's a beautiful burner. I would have given five stars if it wasn't for the lid.

Difficult assembly. Screws did not fit into messed up holes!
This fire pit is attractive, functional, and at a nice price point, but I’m frustrated enough to deduct 2 stars based on the terrible experience I had putting it together.First, quality control issues! The parts come with pre-drilled holes that the provided screws are supposed to easily screw into by hand. However, TWO separate table legs had holes that were not properly drilled. The screws would not screw into these two table legs, which meant that if I had not had power tools of my own to widen the holes, the whole fire pit would have been useless. I’m still furious about this, because a simple project I was looking forward to turned into hours of hunting for bits and parts in my husband’s workbench to drill these holes (he was at work, and this was meant to be a nice surprise to come home to), and the fit still wasn’t secure in the end. The only good thing is that once ALL of the parts were put together, the structural integrity is fairly stable. That said, I don't want to leave two screws loose in something that I plan to put fire in. I’m going to have to buy self-tapping screws to reinforce the table legs, or possibly some high heat JB Weld.My second frustration—Allen wrenches! If I never see another one, it will be too soon. The underside of this fire pit is a jumble of awkward angles and narrow, cramped corners that did not allow for easy turning of the included hex key in either orientation. I really enjoyed putting my fire pit together with a hundred quarter-inch turns!Lastly, durability! Based on others’ reviews about rust and my own experience just moving it from the house to the patio and setting it up, I don’t have high hopes for the finish. Just putting the grate into the bottom of the ash bowl at the wrong angle caused a huge scratch in the finish, so I can only imagine what it’s going to look like after it’s had burning logs tossed in it for extended periods of time, or if I accidentally scrape the sides with the included fire poker.I’m editing my review to say that I did finally burn something in it. I’ll add back a star since it is, indeed, a functional fire pit. The only thing I’ll say about that is that we have a toddler (always watch your children closely around an open flame, obviously), so we attempted to place the cover over the fire as an additional safety measure (like it is depicted in the product images), but this isn’t actually possible unless you have an extremely weak, low-burning fire. There’s even a tag that comes on the handle of the cover that says if the cover starts to heat up and turn red, you’re overdoing it, which happens really easily if the flames are even moderately high. Long story short, the cover is flimsy and ornamental. It cannot be used as advertised. Will it get the job done? Hopefully. But it’s a very temporary solution for only about $60. My plan has always been to build a permanent fire pit once I can get my backyard landscaped how I want it. I hope this pit will last that long!
