It’s accurate, durable, and built like it was forged by the hands of determined farmers who were tired of guessing weights based on “well… he looks about 150-ish.” BUT LET ME TELL YOU… This thing is HEAVY. Like “hope you stretched first” heavy. Like “call a friend, bribe them with sweet tea and cookies” heavy. Once you get it where you want it, it’s amazing — just don’t plan on casually dragging it around the barn unless you’re training for a strongman competition. The animals stepped right on, the digital readout is clear, and it handled everything we put on it without a hiccup. I ordered this scale to weigh my sheep and goats so I could dispense medicine, vaccinations, etc. The wide black scale was great for the rams because they are large, but it's indicator (which was not pictured) does not have the Peak Hold Feature that I need. It was rechargeable and that works for a lot of people. If other people had been available to record the weight as the animals went by, there would not be an issue. Weighing them by myself, it was a big problem. The company authorized a return within minutes of my request, but I was hoping to just get the indicator replaced with one that had the Peak Hold feature and not have to return the whole thing. It was big and it was heavy, and the delivery company had lost a lot of the packaging (the outer box and styrofoam) and returning it was going to mean more work for me. The representative from the company, Sandra, was extremely polite and took the time to talk to me to find out what exactly I wasn't happy with. She made some inquiries on her end and sent me a different scale with an indicator that had the Peak Hold Feature. The gray scale for that indicator (which is in the picture) is more narrow and longer than the black scale. The animals didn't seem to have a problem with that. The indicator (which is not rechargeable) recorded and held each animal's weight until I had finished its exam and needed the weight to administer medicines. I cleared the numbers before I brought in the next animal and no matter how much the animal moved around, it still captured the weight for me and held it until I needed it. I don't have to worry about how much charge the batteries have left like in the rechargeable one. I just have extra batteries handy for when they will be needed. I haven't had to replace them, yet. The company had someone pick up the scale, so I didn't have to worry about finding packing material for it or getting it to the UPS store. The scales and indicators are not interchangeable, so details matter. I strongly suggest that you message the company before you place the final order to make sure you are getting the right scale for your needs. I am happy with mine and recommend it to others.

Pretty heavy but works great! Will fit in a fitting chute. Set up was a little difficult at first until you figured out what the setup manual was telling you, but once you get it, it’s pretty easy.

Customer service has been goo so far. I found a video on line to help clarify the calibration process. So far the scale works great, is durable, and overall I am satisfied with the purchase.

This scale is incredible! We use it to run our entire herd through. We make sure and remove the scale head and bring it inside to charge each time we use it. The black diamond plate is a little slick, so we bought a stall mat and cut it to size and attached it. You’re able To get a tare weight so this is a non issue. We have it right in our alley to our squeeze chute and it works perfectly. Such an affordable alternative and works perfectly.

We open the box today and were extremely disappointed There are only 3 feet The rollers are present with nothing to attach them The electronics were present with no packing material no protection I have most of a piece of a piece of equipment which is useless in its present state

It's a tank! Be prepared for a heavy duty scale. This thing is build for way more weight than it's rated for. You'll need two people to move it around unless you're on concrete and use the side wheels.
