I like that it is handy and easy to clean. Be aware though this device on its 300 watt setting is not just using 300 Watts. The device actually uses around 1000 Watts even if you think it should be using 300 Watts. The temperature control is mostly useless if you select say 60 degrees the item you are cooking starts to cook then quickly gets up to heat as it should.. the device then stops providing heat until I think the surface cools down. This has the effect of your food ceasing to cook for quite a while. I found myself having to switch between two temperatures all the time to keep the food cooking. This temperature problem is with whichever setting you choose.I think things might have been improved had there been a wider range of temperature settings.. 60 then jumps to 90 then 120 and so on.. missing out on some more useful settings like 100 (water boiling etc)Overall I would say it does have its uses and the price is great but too many limitations and higher than insinuated power draw might make people that use them in vans, motorhomes etc think twice.

I had seen these on various video reviews sites and thought why not, we used to use gas to cook on and this was not too safe when inside the campervan, we got a travel kettle and used this on 240v but this took so long to boil, now this induction hob is absolutely brilliant, heats up so much faster less than half to time to be honest, safer to use and very good on electric hook up in the camper, ok we had to buy different pans but well worth it for the safety aspect and how quick these cook, may look at getting one with a double hob if I see one at the right priceFor me this has changed the way we cook when on our travels

Arrived today, unpacked bacon on. Perfect. We tested the range of output, which is important for campervans. This gives us a home hob for barbies, and camping in our motorhome, on a power station. I will submit an update if it becomes necessary.

I wanted our first camping experience to go without a hitch and i am convinced that this item helped. So easy to use and clean its like have your own cooker in the tent, brilliant bit of kit!

This is much cheaper than others I have seen. It works perfectly with the ability to change wattage when using in the motorhome to suit the supply. It is compact and can be stored away neatly and is very easy to clean, a great purchase.

Bought to use on my boat, works perfectly with my iron griddle pan! Well impressed

I specifically bought this because the listing says it will work from an inverter. It doesn't. I returned it.
