Been going through my hidden years for a while now. This book has placed everything into perspective. I'm learning to appreciate my hidden years and all the growth and learning being experienced. If despite all your best laid plans, things have not turned out the way you envisioned or if you feel that your life has been on pause for an interminably long time with no reason that you can decipher, then this book is for you.

Excellent biblical encouragement evidently coming not from a theoretical stance but from a life well lived and weathered through life's seasons. Reading and prayerfully applying this books wisdom will be transformational.

This is a good book to read when you are going through a transition such as retirement. As we go through transitions, our self-esteem can take a hit but that's OK. We have the opportunity to develop in the qualities that really matter and know that we are deeply valued by God. The author relates how most of Jesus' life on earth was spent anonymously.
