Amazing product. I LG washer wasn’t draining and after reading into it ordered the pump and it was delivered the next day. Installed it the hard way and took everything apart but don’t think getting the one screw that is behind the pump would’ve been accessible by going underneath like some video showed. All in all it took me an hour and the washer is performing like new. Time will tell how long it last but definitely worth it at this price compared to having it replaced by a professional.

Works on my LG WM2487HWMA. Pay attention to this part and where it goes. On my machine, there are 2 pumps, at least they both look like pumps, that connect to the drain housing. For me, this part goes on the left of the housing when standing in front of the machine. There is another part on the right that looks like a pump. Kind of confusing. I am replacing both, machine is 15years old so I am sure it is needed. But my machine actually stopped working because of this part. Fairly simple diy. Just watch a few videos. It is nice to buy those spring spreading tools that you will see some youtubers use, but not required. But I suggest you buy it, will make the process easier. I bought a cheap $10, it works.

Fit into my kenmore elite (made by LG), followed some youtube videos and had it swapped out in about an hour. Same fit and function as the old one after test rinse cycle. 10mm socket / screw driver was all that was needed.

Washer pump was making a rattling noise and I was getting the drain code. Pulled the pump, cleared the piece that was loose and didn’t think about it again until that dreaded code came back. Pulled the pump and took it apart this time. The impeller gave up. This is the exact same pump I’d already replaced a few years ago. Ordered the same pump again, and again, it came complete with base plate. Simply plug it in and install 3 screws. You’re back in business. I’ve already purchased this one before and came back again for a second time. No hesitation on the purchase.
