I will not buy a filter unless it has clear canisters so I can see if the filter is getting dirty without opening it. Unfortunately those are getting harder to find. This is excellent. I put all the quick disconnect hose fittings on it and everything is made to spec. The reason for the quick connects and double filters is because this is to be used with an RV. The first filter for sediment and the next is the carbon to remove chemicals that cause odors and bad taste.

This system works great for filtering water off of your main line coming into the home. I did have a plumber install with shutoff valves on each side.

The filter system is a piece of junk. I only opened the box and seen what a piece of junk it was and then shipped it back for a refund. When I sent it back they then charged me for shipping and a restocking fee. It ended up costing me 20 bucks just to open this piece of junk. If I could I would give them less than one star. I will never buy anything from them and I advise others to do the same. Terrible company!!!!!@

Overall it is okay but it doesn't have a pressure release. Replaced the filters and it was more difficult than it needed to be.

Purchased the double chamber filter housing. Tolerances on 3/4” NPT inlet and outlet required metal fittings as plastic fittings were inadequate and did not seal. Quality product. Would recommend.
