Akinerri Booster Car Seat with Pet Bed at Home for Small Dogs, Cats and Large Dog (Medium, Grey)

I've never been so disappointed in a product on here!I did as much research as I could on this booster seat and the positive reviews made the pain of parting with GBP £114 more bearable. I don't have that kind of money to spare but I was desperate to find a good quality, well made, safe, sturdy, comfortable booster seat for our young, deaf puppy, who gets terribly car sick.What a huge mistake! It was pretty simple to put it together but it never sat right, the sides never sat upright and the velcrose sides never lay flat against the sides, leaving wide gaps. Plus the walls/sides kept caving in. The inside bedding bit wasn't that thick or soft/comfortable, so I put towel/robe in.Worse still, was the fact that although we fitted it correctly through the seatbelt and tightened the straps, etc, the seat still moved about and was not secure at all.The 1 loose seat belt/harness fastener which came with it, didn't fit my car, so I had to buy a universal one that did (another expense on top of what I'd paid)! However, because of where the seat belt is positioned, even though it was shortened greatly, my pup was able to wander about, get out and wander over the back of the car, being violently sick everywhere and a dangerous distraction to me whilst driving!The booster seat is badly designed. It's too wide - it takes up 2 passenger seats, yet isn't deep at all. I only have a small car and it could have been much deeper. There's nothing to keep your puppy/dog safely in the seat! The sides aren't high at all! The harness belt should have been fixed within the back of the seat, like many others. The sides should have been more raised and more padded, etc.This seat is supposed to help with travel sickness. Unfortunately, it had the opposite effect with my puppy. Probably not helped with feeling so unsecured in it.Also, this is NOT a large seat for a medium or large dog!! We wanted our pup to get used to the seat before travelling, after his final jabs. So we left it indoors for him to explore and sit in, if he wanted. He was about 7.5kg and 11 weeks old, in the relevant photo and took up the whole seat already (lying down). If he curls up in it, more recently, he takes up most of the seat and hes just 9.1kg at 13 weeks. It wouldn't last him much longer and hes only going to be a medium size dog when fully grown. Anyhow, he won't be using it anymore as it's too dangerous. Fortunately, I've been given a refund as the customer support took my concerns very seriously.Unless your dog is a happy traveller, keeps still, and has no problems, then I would strongly not recommend this item!

I've been searching for an affordable and safe car seat under my shiba puppy with a budget of $100. I saw some other car seats costing more and were either too snug or not supportive for a puppy/medium adult dog. I'm so glad I found this one and it's within my budget! It's very spacious allowing my pup to sprawl out and it will still fit her when she becomes an adult. It is constructed with a pretty solid frame with no concerns supporting a dog's weight. The walls of the bed are cushion-y and the dual-sided materials make it suitable to use all year round. Both materials feel heavy duty enough to withstand minor scratching and chewing. I love how this is an actual "booster" seat, my elevated pup can enjoy looking out the windows too lol. The zipper to secure the bed feels very sturdy despite it being plastic. I would recommend this car seat to all pawrents! It can comfortably fit 2 small dogs. The exterior flat pockets comes in handy too for poop bags, toys, treats, etc. There's a built-in strap that's not adjustable so I will be using the bonus adjustable seat belt strap. To make it extra cozy I will be adding a blanket and some soft toys since my pup is just half the size of the bed right now lol. It folds up flat and comes with a zippered storage tote. 10/10, highly recommend!

Just got this in and my cat is obsessed. It’s a great size, it has all the straps you could need, it’s easy to set up or collapse, and it has mesh sides/top that aren’t bad quality so my cat can breathe but still provide structure and shade. The little Sherpa bed is perfect because it’s not too hard or too fluffy, though I’m not sure how to wash it because there weren’t any instructions and it’s memory foam-like. I suppose the only improvement would be bigger pockets and possibly a tiny tiny bit more structure on the bottom. I can easily carry my 15 pound cat but it bows a little bit when carried, I suppose that’s unavoidable with a fabric kennel though. Overall, very satisfied!

Overall quality of this product is really nice. Super easy to get it set up--only takes a few seconds. The bed is thick and comfy and can be used separate from the booster, which is convenient. As easy to break the booster seat down again and put into the carrying case for storage. I purchased the larger size (29.5" L x 16" W x14" H) for my Corgi. Provides enough boost for him to look out the window when sitting up and it's just the right size (he's on the larger size for a Corgi) for him to lay down and sleep on longer trips. Safety features are easy to put into place and keep the seat secure. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  I have 2 Maltese Dogs(Brothers,from different litters) when I would take then in the car they would argue with each other às to who is staying in back & who is coming up front on passenger seat next to me. Ultimately they BOTH dogs would wind up huddled together on front passenger seat. So I needed a dog seat that would be study, easy to install anywhere in my car, comfortable for my 2 guys and able to accommodate both my dogs at the same time, fit in my front seat & give them both enough room to sit up or lay down, and also have 2 leash clasps to lock them in. I browsed Amazon & stumbled on this dog seat. The PRICE WAS GREAT, THE SIZE WAS GREAT(FOR 2 DOGS) So I read the reviews, definitely liked what I read & ordered. I put the Dog seat in the front seat of my car long ways between seat & dash, its wedged in nicely, my dogs love it,its elevated enough so they can "SIT" not stand on their hind legs and look out the window, they are close to me so they love that , which means no pushing, shoving no growling. Everyone is happy, I also added a favorite small blankie & put it on top of dog seat to make my baby's feel more at home while in the car, Great Dog Car Seat!!! I in put a picture of how I set the seat up in front because seat is long & can not sit regular way. I find this way is VERY secure.

This booster seat is the one to buy. It is quality and perfect for small dogs to sit up high safely. I purchased a similar one from Aldi for my other dog. It was cheaper but nowhere near as good quality and better fabric on this one. Really pleased
