Real AvidGun BOSS AR15

For such a small case, this thing is packed. Bought this to replace the Field and Stream cleaning kit I bought after it broke on second time using it. Not a multi-gun cleaning kit, which I think is better. Unless you want to dish out 60ish dollars you don't get much with multi-gun cleaning kits except things you will never use. This cleaning kit however has everything you need to keep your AR nice and clean. The steel rods are coated so no need to worry about rust and they will not hurt your rifle bore. Everything is held inside nicely. The case is a rugged tough material that should last for years. Has a couple pouches as well to store small items. Good product for the money.

This kit is a great kit for any 5.56 rifle, I bought one for my Ak101 and it is perfect for it, a great kit to have in a bag or on your person. Thanks and God Bless

If you're trying to treat your bore like the girl that made fun of you in high school then you'll probably break it. I had a simple and clean push using the brush gently, then applying more pressure to get it down the barrel for a couple passes. It worked great. This thing is perfect for bringing with you for a quick cleaning when trying to carry as little as possible to the range. I'm sure the rods won't hold up if you don't clean the rifle regularly and develop build-up but other than that I love the small size of the pouch that still allows you to add a few other preferred cleaning supplies.

I bought this kit for my AR-15. This has a small durable case that easily holds all the tools to clean you gun. Just about everything you need is in here. There is a limited supply of perishables, but that's a given. You always have to buy more patches and chamber cleaning pads. You provide your own Ballistol of course. It would have been great if they had seen fit to include a rope bore cleaner, but I don't think I've ever seen a kit come with that. I purchased my own anyway and that's what I take to the range. This kit stays home. Sure, this may not have the most durable tools, but don't be a manic when cleaning your weapon. You want to take your time and do it right anyway. My favorite part of this kit is actually the tough little compact case. I have no issues with this kit and purchased the comparable kit for my AK-47.

Great concept for ar-15 cleaning kit. But it does have some issues.Pro: Great storage container that has everything you need in order to clean an ar-15Cons: The cleaning rod in divided into multiple sections that leads to the rod having a lot of play when cleaning your barrel. The metal that the cleaning rod it made out of is weak and broke after just a few uses. Best to buy a two piece cleaning rod when you purchase this kit.Overall: The chamber push it useful in order to clean the m4 feed ramps. The picks and tooth brush pieces are great in order to help you remove the carbon build up that occurs when shooting an AR. Overall a great cleaning kit that is small enough to carry in your cargo pocket or gun bag when taking you AR to the range. Just make sure to buy another cleaning rod as the design in this package is prone to fail at some point.

Great field kit. Some folks that want to use this as the main rifle cleaning kit needs to adjust their expectations. Anyone who knows how to properly maintain firearms knows this ain't the full fledge on your bench proper rifle cleaning setup. Read something about not having enough patches or to basically have alignment rod accuracy worrying about "damage" to their barrel. Get a ziploc bag and cut up an old tshirt and get a boresnake if you are that worried. Ridiculous.This is the type of kit you use in the field or when courses/training dictate you bringing a cleaning kit that fits in your bag for multiday courses. For those who are looking into a proper setup go look into full size Tipton or Dewey tools.

You can never have too many rifle cleaning kits. This one is for cleaning my AR in the field.

I like the compact size, don’t really like having to piece together all the cleaning rod pieces but that's the price you must pay for compactness.Good assortment of brushes, patches and some accessories I'm unsure about.The one thing I don’t like is the patch tip (the part that holds the cleaning patch on the end of the rod) is plastic. But it will probably serve me well for a long time.
