Work for intended use

All good, as described. These shipped with pretty old firmware, so make sure you know how to manually upgrade it otherwise you cannot join them to a UniFi Cloud Console. It will fail until you update. Not the biggest deal as long as you know how to do it. A great product though!

Love this switch. Plugged it into my network and my unifi controller found it and adopted it right away. Got it all upgraded and it is Rick’s and tiling as intended. The auto sense POE is great i have multiple AP’s and IP phones plugged in and everything came to life with no effort from me. It does weigh more than i thought it would but the POE power adds more to the total. Will be buying more of these switches to utilize the 10G fiber uplinks and run 1 line to remote closets.

The Ubiquiti switch helps drive all our connected devices and has proved very reliable. It is nicely engineered and the portal provides all the information in a clear manner.

The Gen3 PoE switch is quiet and solid performing.

Tuve que gastar adicionalmente en 2 ventiladores noctua 12v pwm 40mm x 20mm porque los ventiladores con los que viene son muy ruidosos. El firmware no cuenta con control de ventilación. Después de reemplazar con los ventiladores noctua, y suministrando unos 90W sobre PoE, el equipo se mantiene aprox en 45 grados C. Compré este producto porque dice que es silencioso pero en realidad no lo es. Decepcionante...

Depending on your choice of management, this may add an additional cost to your setup and may begin a disease called G.A.S (Gear Acquisition Syndrome). Solid aluminum build quality and attractive aesthetics for this price range. On the positive side, the switch has excellent performance for every port, tested using IPerf3, and it is able to consistently deliver 10Gb pass-through on the SPF+ ports on a NAS server and the Unifi Dream Machine SE. The unit is solid aluminum, and the build quality and aesthetics are excellent for this price range. I purchased this in replacement of a similar, more expensive brand that charged a very high cost for their management software. I would recommend this switch to anyone already part of the ecosystem or looking to upgrade their home/office network. Cons: Limited to only two 10Gb SPF+ ports, which might disappoint some users. Initial setup can be tricky if you don't have a dedicated controller device readily avaialable. The reason for the 4 stars is not a reflection on performance but a desire of mine for this price range to have at least four 10Gb SPF+ ports. However, the fact that the device has PoE to power many devices and all ports work at full speed with no issues make this switch an excellent device. I encountered some difficulties setting up at first as I did not have the controller but had a Pi3B+ at hand to run the controller software. However, once installed, make sure that you dedicate such a device to that purpose, as, in my case, the memory on the Pi3B+ was not sufficient. As the tech world is slowly moving towards the 10Gb/s network segment and gradually phasing out Gigabit networks, it would have given a competitive advantage to this switch to include at least two more SPF+ ports for a total of four.
