Great pots! No draining necessary. Once you repot the plant in the growing medium that comes with the pot, you are done. You add water when the indicator drops down. That's it. No over watering and no under watering (as long as you check the indicator). I love these pots. My indoor plants have never been this healthy.

what fertilizer do you use in the water?

I just add regular liquid fertilizer once in a while. Whatever I have on hand, miracle grow or whatever.
