Sound Isolation Pads. Cork Pads for Speakers to Improve Sound and Reduce Vibration (1" Pack of 8)

Before using the blocks the anti-skate weight on my Pro-Ject turntable would dislodge and drop to the plinth because of vibrations from a bouncy floor. Since installing the blocks under the feet of the turntable, the anti-skate weight has remained tethered in place. No more annoyance. No negative effect on the sound when playing records. So happy with the outcome. Highly effective in solving my issue and therefore highly recommended.

Works good for an entry level isolation pad. No complaints

These isolation devices are well made and offer a reasonable level of isolation. They should be considered for use under equipment where isolation is desired, such as under amplifiers or cd/dvd players where acoustic feedback might be harmful. They are quite sturdy and should have no problem with even heavy components up to perhaps 40-50 lbs. I do not believe they would offer significant protection under a turntable sitting on a spongy floor. But used with common sense these are quite good and a long over due and welcomed accessory.

Now, I know many people believe items like this are snake oil. I assure you that this is not, this made a major difference in further stabilizing my turn table which allowed me to play at a much higher volume. These blocks are well made, they look beautiful and not cheap, they feel very sturdy, and made a major improvement in clarity at a high volume. I also love the size and they are not bulky and match my record player completely. I used them for my Rega P25, I also bought a cork mat and a weight and the difference was completely night and day. This is definitely an upgrade well worth the price especially if you truly enjoy quality sound at a high volume without sacrifice to quality.

My current turntable setup requires me to keep my turntable on the same surface as the speakers, which caused incessant feedback whenever I put a needle to a record. These fixed that! :)

Yes, that's right, they make vibrations LOUDER. To test, while recording the output of my Technics 1200mk2 (needle on the record, but not spinning), i tapped the table that it's sitting on with and without these pads underneath the feet. With the pads, the same amount of tapping was clearly louder than without. Try it yourself and see. These make NO DIFFERENCE, except worse.
