I only sleep with silk or satin products to keep my hair as healthy as possible and preserve certain hair styles. Cotton tends to cause breakage due to the tension on the hair. Usually I use silk pillow cases, however, because not all of my linens are silk or satin, I have purchased a few different bonnets. Of all the varieties I have tried, this one is my least favourite. First of all, the price is exhorbitant. There is no reason to spend nearly $30 with tax included for a hair bonnet! Next, it is so small it completely destroyed the hairstyles I attempted to preserve. I returned this item after one use and replaced it with a large satin bonnet I found right here on Amazon for less than $15...A review on the replacement bonnet is forthcoming. As for this purchase; I would absolutely NOT recommend this product.

I bought the burgundy cap, which was gorgeous and comfortable. However, after sleeping in it with normal hair products on my hair, the dye from the cap stained my pillow case beyond repair! I'm so disappointed.

Just got it earlier this week and did the big chop so I get my healthy hair transition under way. As it is currently my hair is just past my shoulders. I have somewhere between 3b-3c hair and am African American. I used it for the first time last night and it is surprisingly nice. Very roomy, love that I can reverse it and very secure (most others I've tried must either be tied VERY tightly or just plain slipped off). I didn't have to tie it too tight and it stayed on all night and I'm someone who tossed and turns. Would definitely recommend it to others, especially if you have a lot of hair or very thick hair.

Silk/Satin pillow cases are amazing for your hair and skin. Unfortunately, if you're like me, I prefer sleeping without any pillows. All the satin sheets I've purchased don't compare to the slip more expensive satin pillow cases have. Every set of satin sheets tends to feel way more cheap to me, and is seemingly always made out of thin material that doesn't hold up after several washes.Thus I went in search of a satin bonnet. The issue with most satin bonnets is they either aren't big enough to accommodate sleeping buns/large amounts of hair, they fall in the middle of the night, are just plain ugly, or a combination of aforementioned issues.This satin bonnet doesn't feel cheap at all, it's made up of two thick, durable fabrics sown together. It's satin inside the cap and outside the cap. It's big enough to fit the majority of peoples hair. It comes with a string sown into the elastic part of the bonnet which you pull to tighten around your head. The problem is the length you pulled your string is held in place by a knot. This means you have to untie and retie the knot everytime you want to adjust the size. It really really should come with those plastic dodads on sleeping bag strings that you push up or down to hold the string taunt - I'm not entirely sure what they're called. If they were made of thin silicone they would be soft and more malleable, and thus people would probably not notice if they were sleeping on it.DO NOT leave the string untied, it will fall out completely from the cap and is extremely difficult to put back in place without ripping seams.

I have curly frizzy hair that I’m conditioning every day. I’ve used silk pillows to try to cut down on the grizzlies but they didn’t help. This sleep cap does the trick! Although I look like a throwback to the 50’s, it stops the grizzlies. For three days after shampooing all I have to do is shake my head when I wake up and my curls look great

This is a very large bonnet! I ordered it so I could keep my long, very thick hair protected at night after styling. The satin feels great and is comfortable to sleep in. I love the drawstring that allows it to adjust to just the right tension. Not too tight and not too loose. I think the satin helps keep my hair shiny and bouncy.This is a small company trying to earn new business. I loved that they followed up after purchase to make sure everything was fine and to give a free gift to further introduce new customers to their product line. I recommend this cap to anyone looking to protect a hair style. It is large enough that you can even sleep in soft rollers. And, I can't wait to try out my new bath bombs! Thanks!

After suffering from thinning edges because my bonnet would slip off while I sleep, I was very interested in finding a bonnet that would stay on my head for the entire night. I typically purchase lower priced bonnets for the beauty supply store, but I also wanted a better quality bonnet. This definitely surpassed my expectations. It is well made and the elastic draw string is completely convered within the satin so it doesn’t come in contact with my edges. It stays on my head on all night and it is comfortable. My edges are filling in too! I would definitely recommend this bonnet and I plan to purchase another to place in my travel bag.
