🛞 Grip the trail, own the ride — Maxxis Minion DHR II means no compromises.
The Maxxis Minion DHR II is a 29-inch tubeless mountain bike tire featuring a dual compound tread for balanced grip and rolling resistance. Its EXO sidewalls provide superior cut and abrasion resistance, while the E25 rating makes it compatible with light-duty e-bikes up to 16.1 MPH. Designed with widened tan side knobs inspired by the Minion DHF, it excels in braking and cornering on steep terrain. Optimized for wide rims, this tire is a top choice for aggressive trail and enduro riders seeking durable, high-performance traction.

Great tires!
I've been running these on my commencal meta tr 29 for years now. I love the tan side walls, and I love how wide these tires are as well. I can really trust the grip on them when I'm cornering.

Maxxis are the best!!
My trek fuel EX5 orange had a new look that made it look 100% prettier and the grip on different textured terrain was the best, I love the Maxxis and Tan-wall tires, they give them an incredible look.

Look awesome with an agressive tread
Replaced my worn black wall 29x2.3 Maxxis Minions to the tan walls. The bike not only looks better (in my opinion) but the 29x2.5 perform so much better. Highly recommended and the shipping was fast. Highly recommended !!

THESE ARE 2.40WT. (Don't fret sub 30mm rim owners)
This seller is extremely inaccurate when it comes to listing these tires spec's and the corresponding photo's. MAXXIS states that WT tires are optimized for 30-35mm width rims. The wording makes it seems like they will not work sub 30mm but this is not true. Pro riders (Bronson) ride WT's on 25mm and if you do enough research you find that running something smaller like a 2.40WT on a sub 30mm is just fine. There have even been comments made by MAXXIS staff that state they will run fine on 25mm rims but suggest to go no lower and run them with a slight increase in PSI. If you want DHF or DHR in gummies from MAXXIS, your only option is a WT!

Best tires EXCEPT for one thing.
I have been buying the DHR 2 from Amazon in the exo model for at least 4 years now for a variety of bikes. The exo model is the lowest grade, and it’s reflected in the price. There’s no question that Maxxis makes the best tires on The market BUT beware of something with this specific tire. In 4 years I have never had a true puncture in my tires HOWEVER every single tire has failed (most recently a brand new one after less than 70 miles on it) due to the “nubs”. Almost every single tire I have purchased tears or rips on one of the grip nubs. It’s not a puncture but a literal rip in the tire at the seam of the nub. Every.Single.Time. I kept buying them because they are cheap, and any of the other more beefy models are twice the price. Please be aware of the quality of the EXO base tires. Yes they have best grip and look amazing. But if you are looking for longevity buy a more durable version of this tire.

Maxxis non delude mai, ho già altri copertoni come questo e fanno il loro dovere. Sono scorrevoli e si consumano poco!

Used other tyres over the years but maxxis give vfm, their grip inspires confidence and the skin walls look good.
