Dana front axel seal installer
Worked perfect for instilling new seals in the front axel of my 08 jeep wrangler. Good fit, strong built and simple to use. Made the job easy without having to make my own tool.

too long, and didn't want to bring down the universal to make them fit. gave them to a buddy who went that extra mile and he loves them

Good outer sealing solution
So far so good. I was replacing the ball joints on my 08 JKU and decided to go one step further and ordered these while I had the Jeep torn apart. They seem like they will do a great job keeping dirt and water from getting in the axle housing as they are a super tight fit on the housing and a good seal against the axle. I used some sand paper to clean up the area just inside the axle where these would sit and cleaned it up really good before applying a little grease to the O-Rings before pushing it in as far as they would go. I then used a rubber mallet to drive them all the way into the housing. They do sit all the way flush when you hit them in, but that seems to make it really hard to get my grease gun on the adapter to grease them. I have a locking grease nozzle it is thicker so I'm sure a standard grease end would work. I didn't buy this kit for the seal tool I got the kit for the outer seals and the bonus was getting the tool for when it is time to change out the inner seals.

Works good at a good price.
The external seals work great! Easy to install if your pulling your axles out. The seal tool that came with it was a pain to use and didn't do a good job. Used my old seal tool and a 3/4 pipe.

Great press!!
This thing worked amazingly, i ended up not using the seals. I did use the press and it worked great, saves alot of struggle trying to get the inside seals back in place.

Does not fit
This product does NOT fit my 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ as the description says it does! Refund window closed so now i have to try and sell this item on ebay!
