Great Product
I LOVE these biodegradable planters, I plant my seeds in them, when they are ready, I just take the whole thing and plant into the garden, provides adequate spacing for most of my vegetables, and keeps the seedlings/sprouts safe and cozy not overwhelmed allows the plant to grow into it's new garden space....and biodegrades wonderfully adds to the soil content... plants have been thriving...

Worked great for my needs
Worked great for my needs. Used them to paint APSA-80 on the inside to show how APSA-80 works to pull water up into the pot.

Good value for your money
These peat pots are good, but not all of them were perfect. There were a few that were not fully formed so I discarded them, really not a big deal to me. All in all they serve their purpose and they are nurturing sunflowers at the moment.

Craft idea
I purchased these to use to make Christmas bell crafts in my daughter’s classroom. They worked great!

AVOID AT ALL COST
Bottom line: the material is nothing like Jiffy peat pots. It is not very porous and does not allow water passage very much in either direction. You can drill some holes to make them work but i still wouldn't plant these. The money you saved compared to Jiffy 2's is not worth the aggravation. Update: compared to Jiffy 2, these are really prone to black and white MOLD. Even going light on watering, these develop white mold in the pan and on the soil surface. My jiffy pots don't suffer from this. I suspect the mold is imbedded in the material. Maybe some preservative has been sprayed on the pots to keep them from rotting until use. The chinese are notorious for formaldehyde use or some other suspect practices.

Convenient
These are convenient and easy to plant in the ground as is. I use them to root Hoya, goldfish plant, and lipstick plant propagations. The tend to dry out quicker, but hold their sturdiness.
