the measurements and drilled holes must be precise. So take your time to do it accurately. The shelves are solid and work good.

The product itself is very well made. All the pieces are uniform and the quality seems to be great. I read previous reviews about poor-quality screws, but I didn't use the screws that came with the item, and I would *never* assume product-supplied screws to be of quality. (use your own screws!)The only frustrating part is that even though this is a ½ inch diameter product, you will (as other reviews have intimated) difficulty installing this on a ½" drilled hole. I had to buy a 9/16ths bit which worked with a little wiggle room.

installed shelves i made from an old barn beam. The wood is very heavy but the brackets had no problem supporting the shelves and items placed on them. Great quality product.

These are wonderful

I wish there was a zero star option. The rods do not fit in 1/2 holes so get ready for that. I sanded all the coating off so I could force them in. Next mounting the brackets to the wall went well until the junk screws they sent with the shelf twisted off inside the wall leaving me with anchors stuck in the wall. So I moved the shelf up ~3/4" install now anchors so shelf will hide the old ones. Apparently putting anchors directly next to each other is a no no. The new anchors ripped out of the wall when my wife set a small plant on the shelf leaving me with some giant holes in the wall. Hope someone else can avoid this these issues and I hope this supplier will invest a little more money in the screws. This would be very dangerous in any loaded application!!!

These are very sturdy and an good value for you dollar. I did experience a little trouble installing just due to the fact that you have to have not only a specific size drill bit to hollow out the spot for the rods to slide into, but it has to be a longer length. I knew when I ordered that I wanted them to be longer because my shelves are large, but it didn’t dawn on me until installing what that meant. Make sure you have the exact right bit before you start drilling the wood for your shelf though, otherwise you run the risk of making the hole too big at the base of that mount by going back with the right bit and drilling the second time. No one likes a wiggly shelf... just saying.
