This sketchbook is great! Extremely thick and smooth paper which is perfect for markers and the cover seems to be very sturdy. The pocket at the back is really convenient as well. This wouldn’t be best size for traveling in my opinion but ohuhu has a smaller, thinner, and lighter size thats just perfect for that. I wouldn’t recommend this for any wet mediums like watercolor because the page buckles right away. Colored pencils also seem to be working great! The blend-ability of alcohol markers is wonderful and pencil doesn’t smudge on the paper. It also comes with a plastic sheet for you to put on the back of the page you are coloring on so the marker doesnt bleed on the other page. This is definitely my favorite sketchbook that I’ve ever used, I personality like it more that the Illo Sketchbook. Microns work great on it too and if you wish to do so, you can draw on the cover with Posca pens or Gelpens. There is also a string to mark where you are in the sketchbook and flip right to that page whenever you want to draw so thats convenient. I absolutely recommend this.

Extremely well crafted. Just holding it- if you love blank books- is an impressive experience. Pleasantly heavy with very thick, excellent quality sketch paper. I bought this specifically to use with the same brand (Ohuhu) markers, and there's only subtle bleed through to the other side of the page, but when you use the included plastic page protector, the bleed through doesn't actually reach the next page. I also use the permanent Sharpie markers in these books, and those do well with the protector, too. I have a couple sizes of these books, and the plastic protector is sized for each book. The binding is sewn and very tough, but the book opens flat. The bookmark is the right thickness to be able to grab easily when you need it and ignore when you don't- also, it seems to be just the right length, too, as most bookmarks are usually too short and you have to fight to grab them (personal pet peeve). These are a little expensive for what I usually like to spend, but they are worth every penny. These would last a lifetime.

Durable with alcohol markers and even acrylic markers. Comes with a page guard whe. Coloring. Nice paper. Nice weight to it. Enjoying my marker journey.

Love the ohuhu sketch book! Nice paper and pencil work nice on it and it fun! Also I don’t like the size of sketchbook it kinda big but for $18.00 good book! My daughter love drawing on it will recommend

I recommend buying this as long as your not hoping to rip the paper out because the first time I tried (I even read how to do it) it messed up one of my drawings 😔 but anyways it doesn't bleed through the paper (not with my markers). The case for it is very nice. I wish that you could fit the thing you put under it for it not to bleed could fit into the slot in the back the clear thing picks up the color of my markers really well which I didn't like but other than that its a really good Sketch book 👍☺

So I'm an artist and I've seen so many reviews / videos about this sketchbook online so finishing up my last one I decided it would be a good time to officially try it out! The paper is thick, markers do bleed!! [Included plastic sheet for next page protection]

AMAZING. BETTER THAN MOLESKINE. Slight warping of the page, but that’s to be expected when using watercolours on any paper, even paper meant for watercolour. The pages are smooth, no tooth, so that might affect the way your paint sits or takes to the page if you’re using it for paint like I am. It is MUCH better than all the watercolour-specialized or mixed media sketchbooks I’ve found online. I like to use a thirsty brush as well as layering with my watercolour, so I needed a thicker, heavier paper that could take it. You can even see in the photos where the water indents the page on the back, but no bleeding of water or colour, which is fantastic. There’s also a clear sheet for protection for under the page you’re working on, which would be helpful with paints and markers alike. The dents eventually go down when the paint dries, and the page itself doesn’t warp too much. I have yet to travel with this book this summer on my architectural tour, but I will thoroughly enjoy using this beyond my tour since there are SO many pages to have fun with. I will be testing out pencil & pen art on this pad later on.

Great sketchbook, very thick. Does not bleed for me and even given a plastic protector to ensure won’t bleed to another page. However, using both pages if you are colouring I think will be ridiculous. U can only use one page if u doing colouring. Both my daughter and me love it. Our go to brand now for everything art.
