Terrasoul Superfoods Raw Organic Cacao Powder, 16 Oz, Rich Chocolate Goodness for Baking, Smoothies, and Blissful Hot Cocoa

This is a great cacao powder and a very competitive price. Using this using this cacao powder I was finally able to make a very delicious hot cocoa without sugar. It is not very bitter so I sweetened it with just four drops of pure stevia. Most stevias have other sweeteners or ingredients mixed in and don't taste as good as the pure stuff in my opinion. I got mine at Trader Joe's but there are pure brands that Amazon sells as well (such as Viccoky, CCNature, SweetLeaf brands). You may want it sweeter than I do - add more stevia. I mix two level tablespoons of the cacao in about 1/3 of a coffee mug of milk with an immersion blender. Add stevia as above. Speed set low and move slowly. An electric frother might work too. Once it's mixed in add milk and stir, but leave at least a half inch of room at the top. Microwave it for 1 and 1/2 minutes. Check it. Add 15 seconds at a time until it's at the temperature you like. If you do too much time it will expand / boil over the side. It is possible if I let it sit for a while after mixing it the air would leave it and it would have much less tendency to boil over. But I'm too impatient. When I'm making cocoa I want it now! This is some of the finest cacao or cocoa I have had and it is really nice to have it without my body complaining about too much sugar. Also sometimes I add it to my protein shake which is quite nice.

Terrasoul cacao powder is delicious, and tastes better than other brands I have tried! It has a creamy texture, and mixes even better in warmer liquids. High quality and well sourced. Well packaged. The package is so full of cacao that I shake it before opening to settle the cacao and make the package less messy to open. I re-order it regularly. I have read the UC San Francisco study showing that the flavenols in cacao powder double the amount of stem cells in the blood, released from bone marrow.

Excellent cacao. I will get this again. Earthy, clean, multilayered and complex in its notes like a real cocoa should be. It is very smooth and mixed in exceptionally well just a nice smooth silky texture. I’m sure it will bake well once I get to that. I use it as an energy drink with other ingredients and it’s delicious, nutritious and feels great. Love this brand and have bought other products of theirs and have liked them very much. This does not disappoint. This is just pure cacao with no other ingredients.

After much researching on acceptable lead & cadmium levels I decided on this brand. As soon as I opened the bag the fresh chocolate smell was like heaven. The appearance is smooth and buttery, so is the taste! I immediately baked chocolate banana cake using raw honey as a substitute for refined sugar, it is absolutely chocolaty delicious! Will be buying more!

I previously bought this product and I really enjoyed this Cacao it is yummy to me, flavorful, it blends well, and I like the over all color of this product. I use it t for baking and with the holiday season it would be used frequently, but it was delivered to me damaged (opened) making it in usable, for safety reasons. I cannot and will not use it! I am very disappointed because I really enjoyed this product, but now I am a little let about buying it online again.

I've reordered this product now multiple times. I love the taste. It's fresh. I prepare it daily using 1/8th tbs in about 10 ounces of hot water. I like it straight with now additives, but I'm also a purist who enjoys bitter tasting drinks. Prepared this way Cocao wonderful healthy alternative to black coffee. On occasion, I'll prepare it in a stronger dose (1/4th) when I need steady energy without jitters for deep focused work or contemplation. I'll also mix this cacao into smoothies. Great product.

I've been using this cacao powder for quite some time now. It seems like a quality product, and every bag I have bought has delivered consistent quality. I add it to my Americanos and I also add it to my protein shakes. My wife likes to sprinkle it on tiramisu for an upgrade over cocoa powder. This stuff tastes delicious and it's loaded with good stuff for your body and brain.

My favorite brand of cacao. I particularly appreciate that it is always consistent in the taste and texture. No clumps and very fine powder that blends easily. I make a hot cacao every morning. I use a generous scoop of cacao 1 tbsp of maple syrup and pour hot water to the half point of my mug. The rest is filled with homemade cashew milk or organic soy milk. The cacao mixes in well.
