The Tycoon's Secret Affair (The Anetakis Tycoons, 3)

This is one of my favorite book out of three. Since I bought it few years ago, this is my third time reading it.

This was the second time I read this book, and loved it as much as I did the first time I read.Jewels, and Piers met, and spent one sizzling night together before Jewels started her new job. I’m not sure who was more shocked when jewels showed up to work. Piers, or Jewels. Neither thought their paths would cross again. Now Jewels was there to be the assistant for Piers. He left on a trip and called his personal department and had her fired.Five months later Jewels is in the hospital. Jewels is pregnant with his daughter. She is having complications. The hospital will not discharge her until they are certain Jewels will have someone with her to care for her. She only has one friend, and he can’t come. She had no choice but to call Piers.Maya banks really knows how to write an emotional story that pulls at your heart. This story was beautiful written. I loved the Happy ending that they all got. The other characters really enriched this story. I loved the sister in laws. It was also nice to see the three brothers and how much they loved and dotted on their wife's. This book has been placed on my books of favorite's.

I have read this book twice I never reviewed it.I love this book .I love Maya books.its a great read.second time around was better to me

I loved the way they all went through sadness and then realized what was important to them and went after real deep love. I Love and read almost all of her books and I've told all my girlfriends too read The Anetakis Tycoons books and they said that they loved it.

This year of 2013 is almost over. I have read more than 300 books. I rate my books from 8-10 with ten being the highest! This book is definitely a "10". It took my attention immediately. The hero was lovable and it was easy to understand and forgive his hang-ups (especially once his prior experience was told). I loved. I liked it that the heroine had a good sense of who she was, and stood up for herself. She was NOT intimidated by the hero. I thought she should have understood his reaction to Kirk, and felt she would have the same attitude as he if there had been a woman that he called a similar friend. I could (and will) read this book again. Highly recommended!!!

It was a very thought provoking book you see how two opposite come together to mend each other and move past the trouble they were dealt.

this was your typical silhouette book. i did however, really like both characters. the storyline was pretty good. I did not read the 2 books that came before this book in the series and it was not a problem. I caught up quickly. It was a short story, fun to read, had some emotional stuff that went good with the characters and all in all I would read it again

This is the final book of the Anetakis Tycoons Series. As the previous reviewer says, this is not Maya Banks at her bestJewel slept with Piers not knowing he was her new boss, making the meeting of boss and employee very difficult.Whilst away from the office, Piers asks his staff to remove Jewel from his office but part of the conversation is missed and Jewel finds herself without a job, home or any money.Five months later Piers finds her, pregnant she says with his child. He has been in this position before and ending up being hurt, deceived badly and closed himself down emotionally. He cannot believe he is about to be caught again!Jewel has to convince Piers to accept her and believe the baby is their child, but also has to wake him emotionally. Thinking she he is doing this along comes something else to test the relationship.Jewel locates Piers son Eric, who has been placed into the foster system. As this was how Jewel was brought up she cannot allow another child to experience this and resolves to make Eric hers.Piers' finally accepting that Jewel may be genuine has to find her and convince her of his love and that he needs her in his life.As per the previous reviewer, I do prefer the longer novels of Maya Banks as she does normally manage to combine character and plot build up together with hot steamy sex!I did enjoy the book, but would have preferred a longer version.

I liked the whole trilogy of the Anetakis men.

This is one of the better series written by Maya Banks. Another goodthing about Maya she writed some great series as i said one of her better ones
