Husband enjoyed this wallet—we were looking for the hidden zipper.

UPDATEI've had three of these wallets now. The first two lasted a reasonable time. The last one was a slightly different design, but was just as functional. Unfortunately, the zipper on the zippered money pocket has failed. That was a feature I really liked. I'll continue to use this one for a while but I'll retire it more quickly than the previous two wallets. Because of the zipper failure, I'm reducing the rating to four stars._________________________The first thing I noticed was the smell. Not a leather smell though. It wasn't pleasant but it's going away.Now the good news. It's a very nice wallet with lots of card slots and two very useful clear ID pockets. I had been poking some cards in with the bills in my previous wallet. All of my cards are now in card slots and I have a couple of empty spaces.The money slots are a little shallow. You really need to arrange your bills neatly to fit them within the bill slots.I had a trifold wallet before, and it's interesting that the new bifold is slightly thicker with the same contents. I think the clear ID pockets are primarily responsible for the extra thickness. The other reason may be the extra zippered slot for bills. I really didn't know the zippered bill slot was a feature of the wallet until today when I found it.There is one other feature that I didn't expect. There is an outer card slot that is accessible when the wallet is folded.I would get the same wallet again.

Very nice wallet. exactly as in the photo. I bought it for my husband. He is happy, accordingly - so do I :)

I'm very happy with this purchase so far:). For the price, I was expecting it to arrive already shredded or with some funky design or logo on it. Happy to say neither of those happened (at least for me). I read many of reviews saying otherwise. But for a few bucks, I thought what the heck.Pros: Plenty of compartments. More than what a human being should need. Nice big clear windows (2) to show id or work pass. Seems to be very well made. Although I've only had it for about 4 weks.Cons: It is a little big compared to my old wallet, although it will fit easily in NORMAL pants and shorts. Slots are a tad tight for cards, but I have noticed the more I use them, the easier. Plus, I'd rather have tight fitting pockets than loose ones.All in all, if you're trying to impress someone with your wallet LOL, go buy something else. If you want something that's efficient, look no further.

Perhaps they had more of the wallet actually advertised, but the one we received was a little different. It's still a good wallet for the price, just thought I'd leave a description of what a future buyer might receive in case it matters greatly.- black leather bi-fold wallet- 3 clear ID pockets- 9 credit card slots- no photo pockets- the currency pocket is divided into 2- 4 sideways slip pockets, including one on the outer backAlso, although the wallet is black, unlike the picture provided, the one we received has off-white contrast stitching on the outside. (Uploading a picture for visual reference) I believe the other pictures of the inside of the wallet are correct though.Otherwise, no complaints. The wallet was received quickly and in good condition.update: 5 years later and the wallet is still in great condition! just one of the photo id slots tore at the seam a while back. nothing a little tape couldn't fix

This is a great basic wallet. It has room for 12 cards without doubling any up. It has two picture spots which is great, I use one for my license and the other for my work ID. The wallet has two areas for bills and 1 "secret" zipper compartment. It is very well made and holds up to daily use. It also, even when full of cards tends to be pretty thin. My only criticism of this wallet is that the "secret" compartment has a zipper. First, its not that secret when it has a zipper. Secondly the little bulge that the zipper adds is awkward at first. I eventually got used to it but if you are seated for long periods of time, I could see it becoming annoying.

I've had a number of wallets in my life, but this is probably my favorite one. I love most that it has two flaps inside for IDs, so I can flash my license when buying alcohol and such, and it has 8 slots for cards for credit, banking, grocery, etc. I also love how there are two slots for cash, so you can keep your monies separate for a variety of reasons. And there's this little zipper for a kind-of hidden compartment. You might keep something useful in there, but nothing you wouldn't want a burglar to eventually find, like a social security card or anything like that. I only dislike how thick the wallet is, in my tighter jeans it feels like I'm wrestling myself just to pull it out. Overall though it's a great wallet, recommended.
