I love this shelving because of the color is great and the shelf is very light weight. We put our pictures on it and it's looks great, holds up big pictures.

Nice light weight shelves, on the square and level. Well made and inexpensive. Definitely worth the purchase price.I layered a few coats of Tung Oil on them, Real Milk Dark Half. They soaked it up like a sponge, and look quite nice. Two weeks of cure is enough for gentle use, with Dark Half.Mounted one shelf under a 24x36 inch kitchen chalk board for holding liquid chalk markers. I used cleats in studs, rather than the predrilled holes. Those predrilled holes are 16 inches apart on center and stud worthy too by the way.After a few more weeks of curing for the Tung Oil it should be good for holding soft touch chalk and an eraser too. I may layer shellac or lacquer over it later.This wood will take just about any additional finish, mineral oil, shellac, lacquer, whatever. I used Tung because I wasn't in a hurry and was already in process with several other pieces of fine woodwork. Very light prep sanding at 320, I buffed the second coat with 1200, no additonal sanding between coats. Your mileage may vary depending on preference. For an inexpensive but well made small piece of shelving they coated well and look sharp.A shelf like this is easy enough to make oneself, but well worth the purchase price. Happy with this purchase.

These are real wood which I was nervous about, I hate the fake stuff that has a veneer over it but these are pretty solid wood! The grain is beautiful and they seem very sturdy. I’ve had them up for about a month and they’ve done great so far! These are shallow so perfect for a large peanut butter container and that’s about it, so just for reference.

This was a super easy install and looks pretty good from a distance. Up close, you can definitely see it looks a little cheap. It doesn't feel super sturdy, but it's been working well for months now. It makes for a good display shelf that isn't touched often with too much weight.

I bought this shelf and it’s exactly what I was looking for! The size and color was perfect. It’s really sturdy and I would definitely recommend if you need a shelf for photos!

Not a fan of these shelves. Bought two sets. Wish they never got delivered.Nice looking, yes. Wish I had better luck with them. Would definitely return if I didn't have to repackage and go through hassle of shipping.Problems:1) The vertical board along the back is warped/bowed, on both shelves. No clue if second set it like that. Not even going to open that package. Because it's bowed/warped, the thing doesn't sit flush against the wall. Also, makes it tough to affix to wall.2) The wall anchors don't anchor. Drilled to spec per the instructions, and the anchors didn't hold well. Rather than risk a fail of shelf coming off wall, took them off.3) Predrilled holes at 20 inches. US wall studs are at 16 inches. Thought about trying to mount into studs, but ya can only really hit one with the shelf.4) Instructions and/or screw holes are off. Instructions show the wall anchors going through the shelf holes. First, holes aren't big enough. Second, if done that way, very little anchor to bite into the drywall.5) Even tried hanging with large command strips. That was almost a winner, but because the vertical board against the wall isn't true, the wall to shelf interface was so off, couldn't even get the hook and loop fasteners together.I should have requested a refund when it looks like the packages were lost.Your mileage may vary. Maybe I got some wonky shelves. But one thing for sure, I'm done with DIY floating shelves forever

It’s a great shelf! It does have a lip to it which I didn’t know so when I put things on it, it can hide part of my decorations. It was easy to instal and holds a good amount of weight.
