Worked like a charm…Used to install motorcraft rear main seal on my 06 f250 and did exactly what it was meant to do.Would def recommend it.It well constructed.

Pricey, But Works Well After Minor Modification
The hole for the crank dowel pin was too small. I simply mic'd the pin (0.251") and used a 1/4" drill bit in my drill press to ream the dowel pin hole to the proper size. After that it fit properly. There were no instructions with it, so using common sense I centered to tool on the crank by using the seal/wear sleeve in the rear cover bore. Once I was satisfied it was centered I snugged the two bolts down. After that I just used a 1" wrench to spin the nut and push the seal in. The tool bottoms when its done. No need to go hog wild trying to press it in farther. FYI, no oil, grease, etc. on the seal. Ford states that they go in dry. All in not a big deal and reasonably easy to use. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the RMS is not cheap either and having to replace a leaking one in the truck would be a royal PITA. Its worth noting I only use Ford OEM gaskets and seals on the 6.0.

Super annoying having to buy a special tool every time you turn around, but this tool did what it was supposed to do and made the job easy on our 2008 f350 6.4l diesel
