A Good Product!
These are very nice! I've been wanting to get back into art in some form or fashion and I've been seeing so many oil pastel videos and one artist I liked mentioned these! So I figured for that price, why not give it a go? Unfortunately when I got it some of the pastels were broke. But I had a large item in the box as well that probably caused that during shipping. Pastels are smooth, vibrant they lay on dry and slightly crumbly. Nothing too creamy like I've seen some brands but the blend is nice! Doesn't handle tooooo many layers, you'll have to really press down if you're trying to lay something on a darker color but it definitely feels nice to use

Great quality, blends well
Crayola oil pastels are what I use at school with my students. In addition to being great for beginner art students, the quality is so good that I use them myself. I purchased a set and I almost need a new one! They work well on cardboard as well as on different paper textures and types. They blend perfectly and this 28 pack has vibrant colors, some pastels, and gold and silver- all that I need to create teacher samples and make my own art. The set gives excellent value for money and I will keep coming back to replenish my stock.

Crayola oil-based pastels, a good idea for young and artists
This is a fun combination of color mediums--pastel and oil. Kids can have fun with it. Adults and kids can create major art works. Might be a good alternative to watercolor and/or acrylics

Very good beginner oil pastels
As far as oil pastels go, these are really good for the price. If you want hard oil pastels and not soft buttery ones, these are definitely the way to go. I was skeptical at first because of the funky shape, but I actually really like the way these work a lot! When it comes to durability, they’re definitely harder to snap or break, so these are definitely more kid friendly than the majority of oil pastels. However, if you are a perfectionist like me who is big on blending, you really have to try with these ones; depending on the color, the lines come down very harshly and are not super opaque (cough cough metallic colors cough) To get a good mark out of them you might have to press down relatively hard depending on the surface, so if you decide to use these as if they are crayons for some reasons, they’re not the quickest to simply write with.

Decent Quality for Kids Pastels!
These pastels are pretty decent for what they are (Children Pastels) and their price. They’re actually not that bad.. they blend okay and produce a lot of little particles when being used. I mainly use them for large areas that need to be covered as a under layer and then I use my more expensive oil pastel like mungyo and caran d’ ache.. they’re better then some of my other cheaper pastel brands. They’re more waxy and need more pressure to apply and are okay but not good at laying colors on top of other colors. You can put darker colors on top but if you want to use a lighter color, you’re pretty much using it as a blending stick lol..

Soft and blend well and the price is right
They are soft, blend well and I like them better than some of the adult brands I have bought. They would be great for kids to adults. Iv watched artists do reviews on these and they were impressed.

Awesome for the price👌
I bought these because I never saw these in stores and got curious. I briefly tried pastels before and I found them too difficulty to work with. BUT. These are very buttery, super fun to play with and mix colors. They have a somewhat firmer feel than other pastels but layer well. Colors are very vibrant. I don't know if I would give these to a young child, they do have the oil chemical smell that regular pastels have and I find they are super messy as well. I think this would be a wonderful present for a child of 8+ interested in exploring different mediums. I made the doodle as a gag gift to my sister within 2 hours of them being delivered. It didnt take long to get the hang of it. These are super forgiving and let you layer over mistakes.

Perfect Pastels for Littler Hands
I'm a homeschooling mother of 6. We incorporate art skills into our lessons every day by sketching, coloring, and/or painting illustrations of the things we are learning about. These oil pastels are perfect for my little guys (ages 3 and 4) because they are much longer and thicker than regular art pastels. These pastels are rich in color, and are just as blendable as any other oil pastels we use. My little guys like being able to do pastel drawings just like their older siblings, and they are becoming quite good at blending colors and using different types of strokes and different amounts of pressure. My 4-year-old even decided to peel the paper off of his so that he could rub them flat on the paper for coloring large areas, just like his 13-year-old sister does with her pastels (she has a set of Pentel). These have been a perfect art supply for our homeschool and have really helped my children with their art skills, and inspired their creativity. And, they are of such a fine quality, all the children are able to use these (up to age 18). I am so perfectly pleased with these--and the price is fantastic! Excellent value!

Ive bought these alongside a good quality oil pastels. Both were amazing in their own way. These are amazing for starting out as they layer well and are quite soft. The colours are pigmented and has good variety. Highly recommend for the price despite it being made for kids!
