I have some really nice knives and some over rated knives that aren't worth what i paid for them. This is by far my favorite knife in the kitchen. I reach for one of these all the time. It's like magic how it cuts steaks, veggies, tomatoes without an effort, pretty much anything when I am cooking or eating. And it's reasonably priced too.

LOVE these knives, I purchased these in addition to the set I already had. After using ( with envy) the same brand of knife at my mother’s for years, I finally purchased some for myself. Yes, they are pricey, yet worth every penny. They are VERY sharp. I do wish the handles were less cheap looking. They fit the hand well but can become slippery if wet - thus my multiple type purchase. Durability of handle material - only time will tell. Overall- quite satisfied and looking forward to using these knives .

These are extremely sharp, surprisingly so. They are versatile: bread, fruit, vegetables, steak. Curved tip allows spreading of butter or condiments. Dishwasher safe!

I've bought 2 sets of these now. I can't say enough good things about these knives. When I first received the set, they felt so light weight that I doubted they could be any good. Then, I cut myself taking them out of the package - my fault because I underestimated them. The blades are very thin and sharp as heck. They are also serrated, just for good measure. The result is that I can easily cut just about anything. You can cut paper thin slices of meats, fruits and vegetables. We have a heavier, much more expensive set, but the Victorinox set is our go-to set. I've had the first set of these for a couple of years now, and they're just as sharp as the new set I just got. I absolutely love them.
