I’ve been using a manual citrus juicer to make lemonade - the kind with the ribbed dome that you press the citrus half against and twist back and forth. A lot of work, and a lot of unwanted pulp which needs to be strained. I used my new Zulay Kitchen citrus press today and it is Wonderful! With the manual juicer, I needed to roll and press the citrus first, then cut them in half and do the work of extracting the juice. With the Zulay Kitchen press, there was no need to roll the lemons first (I tried both ways and doing the extra work of rolling the fruit made absolutely no difference in the amount of juice extracted). Also, pouring the juice through a fine strainer is only to remove any seeds as there was no pulp in the juice at all. I made the large pitcher of lemonade in minutes - the longest part of the process being allowing the lemon peels to steep in the simple syrup for 15 min. Placing the cut fruit in the citrus press ‘upside down’ in the cup as directed seems counter-intuitive. However, there is currently a video demonstration on the Amazon listing page showing the user placing the fruit cut side up so it nestles in the cup of the press. She is enthusiastic about the gadget even as the juice comes slopping out of the handle and over her hand. I followed the photos attached to the Amazon listing itself and the instructions included with the press, placing the cut side of the fruit facing the holes in the bottom of the press cup, and it works beautifully. As someone mentioned in a review, the squished citrus half does end up holding onto some unextracted juice. To test how much juice was wasted, I went back over the process with the squished halves, placing them right side up this time. I got less than 1/2 tablespoon out of them - not enough to make a difference with the 1-1/4 cups extracted using the device as directed. This is an honest and very positive review of a simple but quite effective kitchen tool.

It's a fantastic gadget! The best thing to have if like myself, you have a need for lemon or lime juice and want to avoid having to clean an electric juicer. This item only requires a quick wash, rinse and dry after use.👍🏾

Amazing. It works so good and easy to use also. Squeezes out all the juice. I love the green for limes and yellow for lemons. Very pretty. Best juicer I've ever tried!!!

This is the second one of these we ordered. We find these do a nice job of juicing citrus fruit. Well constructed and durable. It is a bit small for juicing oranges, but it works.

At first I recieved a defective product, however when I received the other one it really turned out to be a great product. I like that it has a extra attachment that really helps to squeeze more juice out. Very easy to clean!!. Overall really amazing product.

Simple and easy to use! I like that it has two different sizes for lime and lemons. I was easily able to juice all of my lemons without any problem.
