Yes. Mine was on an extension cord.

Will this heat my 10x10 gazebo with the sides closed?

We returned ours because on our small porch the heat was almost undetectable unless the heater was within a foot or two of your head. If your gazebo is totally enclosed, perhaps it'll heat up over time, but if there's airflow, it's not much help.

Can you replace the halogen heat rings when they go out?

i dont know mines don't need replacing
