Perfect Fit
OEM part is a perfect fit for 2008 Tahoe, simple installation. No more Continous pump knockoff while refueling. Great $. BTW installer must blow charcoal beads Out of evac. Line thru filler neck that goes into fuel tank. Blow into tank 2 to 3 times.Problem solved yes!!!Use YouTube for more information on how to.

Fitted perfectly and able to pump gas
It fitted my 2012 Escalade and not hard to put on. I was able to pump gasoline back into my tank without pump going off. I felt the engine running a little bit smoother but it just might be me.Updated - The gasoline pump starting going off again every 2 gallons. I had to vacuum the lines with a handheld home vacuum cleaner and blow the lines, vapor canister and gasoline tank (without taking off). Several carbon pellets were vacuum and others came out when blowing the gasoline tank through the gas cap. I saw some youtube videos. I didn't take the part off nor lower the gas tank. So far, is working great and no more gas pump going off. Good Luck. The Vapor Canister was not the problem and still have the one bought from Amazon.

Is this a fake part? (Update maybe not)
I thought I would be safe ordering this through the "AC Delco" store if it is actually legitimate. It wasn't cheap so hoped it would be genuine. Either way it only lasted 8 months and started puking charcoal all through the emissions system. Now I have to remove the entire evap system and fuel tank to blow out all of the lines. I did this prior to install and all lines and components were clear. Buying one guaranteed to be original would be better at twice the price considering how much work it takes for R&R and clean out. Not sure what problem was but after cleaning out valve a couple of times no more charcoal pellets. No more check engine light seems to be running fine now. Either some where left in the canister during manufacturing or even though I pulled the tank and blew out all lines I might have missed some. Running Good. All happy now.

Charcoal Pellets
Part is great. If you are ordering this part because of "SLOW" fuel fill up and or check engine light is on it has probably ruptured internally and you have charcoal pellets in all of your EVAP system. It may fix your problem for a while but those pellets floating around will cause you problems later. Best to go ahead and remove fuel tank and remove all emission lines for cleaning. Emptier the tank is the easier it will be to work with. Once lines are removed one puff of air will not be enough. You can not do it manually. You will need a compressor and to blow out each line from both ends multiple times to get all the pellets out. If you have not done this before find a "how to" video and watch it. You may need to watch it multiple times to remember all the steps. As stated earlier part is great but don't mess up a good part by an insufficient job or over filling your gas tank which is number one cause of part going bad.

Fits 09 Tahoe 5.3 engine
Here's the guidelines that I experienced for you EVAP Emission fixers (when I did it all items were sold on Amazon:- ACDelco 214-2311 will fit 09 Tahoe / 07 Sierra 1500 5.3 engine but I needed 19257603 adapter wiring harness. It does not come with the hoses nor the charcoal filter. The hose that connects to this and to the gas tank will rip and the vent. I did a new clean cut on the broke end of the hose (probably cut off 1-2cm, not much). Then I heat treated (DO NOT OVER HEAT, take it slow) the hose to get it to fit with a heat gun (torch has higher chance of over heating). While hot I place 6" needle nose pliers inside the hose and increased the diameter of the hose on the canister end. This process is precision work and does take time to get it correct. Once I fit it to the vent (biggest challenge is to get it past the lip on canister where the hose fits), I heated it one more time and squeezed the outside of the hose connected to the canister while it cooled for a tighter fit. I just kept my original charcoal filter because I have not seen it sold separately.- 96553405 is my original vent canister for 09 Tahoe / 07 Sierra 1500 5.3 engine and did not need the adapter wiring harness. I needed to execute the same troubleshooting steps above.- 23481275 is probably the route you wanna take. I comes with the hoses and a new charcoal filter. You will need 9257603 adapter wiring harness. The canister has a new look and the hoses attached to it are in different location, so don't be scared. I do not know is if it will slide in the metal clip that is bolted on the vehicle. Not an issue for me if I ran into this problem, I would secure it with heavy duty zip ties or use metal wire and twist it on.- ACDelco 214-1680 fits 09 Tahoe / 07 Sierra 1500 5.3 engine and this is what I used. No special work required. Its a plug and play.- ACDelco 215-464 fits 2009 tahoe 5.3. engine. I do not know if it will fit 07 Sierra 1500 but I think it would. Be careful when removing the clips to detach the hoses, they will be brittle because of time and weather. If you do break them, I found some at Autozone and needed a Dremel to grind away some plastic to fit it perfectly.

I can finally pump gas without resetting the pump lever every few seconds.
I started with my purge valve AC Delco 214-1105 and the canister filter that sits to the side of this main canister without any improvement. I finally ordered this unit for my 2004 Yukon XL 1500 with the 5.3 vortec gas only configuration and it resolved my problem. Now I can simply leave the gas pump nozzle until it is completely full and my fuel gauge reads full. Very difficult to install without a jack and jack stands but I made it happen. All you need is a socket wrench, a small flat head screwdriver and a flashlight.PROS:-Fixed my gas pumping issues-Relatively inexpensive-No special tools requiredCONS-Slightly smaller than the original 3.3L Canister and doesn’t fit into the bracket the way the original did (see pictures)-A real pain to get to
