Adult Long Hair Wrinkle-Free Silicone Swim Cap

I purchased this after trying another "best selling, well known brand name" swim cap that was so tight it gave me headaches. I tried this one in the hope that it would have a more comfortable fit since it is designed for long hair. My hair is actually just chin length, but the extra room really makes a difference. This one has a slightly larger fit and is far more comfortable. It's still quite snug, which would be expected for a swim cap, but I do NOT end up with a headache after swimming laps. It does not keep my hair dry, but that was not a requirement for me. Glad I purchased it.

This swim cap is my favorite. I purchased the black TYR. I have long hair (goes to my lower mid back). I have worn this cap many times in both salt and chlorine water. It's easy to put on and take off. The quality is good and durable. It's comfortable. The cap stays in place and protects my hair from tangles. The cap is not waterproof (I haven't found one that is). This is not a problem. I rinse my hair after swimming anyway. I rinse the cap after each use. It appears to be a one size that would fit most people. I plan on purchasing another one and recommend this for others.

Great swimming cap for long hair! It has loads of room for my long ponytail and fits comfortably without feeling tight.

This is a good swimming cap. However, it is too tight on my head and doesn't cover it completely so my hair gets wet at the nape. It might be better for someone with a smaller head and less hair.

This is just so, so for a woman with a very large head and long hair that has to be put up in a bun, it is still a challenge to keep on my head unless I have it pulled down so far on my head and ears and it feels like it is squeezing my head. If not, I have to fiddle with it several times in an hour lap swims to keep it from popping up and feel like I am losing it.. It does okay to keep the chlorinated water out when I can keep it on. I pre-treat my hair with a product to help protect it anyway.

I love that this swim cap actually works! I work as a swim teacher and this cap keeps my hair dry and safe from the chlorine. It’s very sturdy and stretchy to fit all my hair. It’s extremely tight on my ears which bothers me when I first put it on, but after wearing it awhile it feels very comfortable. I like the color and how it’s designed. I would buy it again.

I put a headband made of chamois on my head and then over that one made of a theraband. And then I put the cap on and it's very rare for water to leak in. This cap doesn't ride up either. It's not too small. And it hasn't stretched out which is good. The other cap I had stretched out some.

As a man with long hair, I really like how this cap fits. But, I really want to love this cap. My cap lasted all of 3 months, using it 3 times a week. This morning, as I was donning the cap, I experienced an "equipment failure." In other words, the cap tore along the right side over the ear. I am buying another cap because I don't think I really have a choice. Just be aware that these caps are commodities and, as such, are not designed to last forever. I just didn't think it would be only 3 months.

I've tried so many swimming caps, but this one has to be the best so far even though there remains a slight water seepage. I've yet to find a product that's 100% protection. But this is the best so far!
