I've been in the market for a smartwatch for a while. I am very picky about the design and functionality. I love the look of the Samsung gear s3, just something about being able to spin the bezel reminds me about some of the watches I had when I was younger. So I was super stoked to find one one here on Amazon in the renewed section. Unfortunately this is an older model and was in acceptable condition but a steal at just 36.00. I noticed that the battery had a hard time keeping a charge and it would die within a few hours. Looking for accessories I found this replacement battery. It was pretty cheap and came with the tools to change it. It was not too difficult and took about 20 minutes start to finish to change. The hardest part for me was getting the back off without damaging the wires. Then putting it back together correctly. I would recommend taking some pictures before and during the process just to make it easier putting it back together. There is nothing solder it all just snapped back together easily. Put it on the charger and now it works better then ever and being 520ma the battery last almost twice as long. The only additional tools I use was a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the back off and a magnifying glass to be able to see the wire connections better. So now I'm into my watch for about 50bucks and absolutely love it.

Gear S3 Frontier Tumi Edition was down for about a year but I missed it so much, I took the risk of doing the repair myself. It's was pretty easy as long as your careful and take your time! (FYI... The plastic blue tool was pretty cheaply made but it did manage to complete the job... Bairly!) Once completed, I threw it on the charger and it came back to life! Not only did it fix the issue, but I've had better battery life throughout the day than when it was a brand new watch! What use to last almost a day, gets me about a day and a half. And that does include wearing it to bed to track sleep! Definitely Recommend trying it out!

This battery kit also included 2 screwdrivers which was noce so I didn't have to search around for the correct size and type. It also included 2 pry tools which worked ok. When removing the back cover of the watch the waterproof seal was damaged so the watch is probably not waterproof anymore. It would have been great if the kit also included a new seal.

well lets see the last battery I bought lasted 3 months from wavypo but I couldn't find anyway on there website to get any warranty info so this time I went with this seller. Now for this battery it's the same brand as the one I bought 3 months ago but a different seller it does come with the tools to you need and it's easy to replace.

I followed the Youtube videos on how to replace battery and after watching several on repeat I caught on and the installation was a success. I was very gentle and I'm glad because I see it would be easy to break the connecting ribbons if not careful. The battery installed "backwards" from the factory installed battery, meaning that the adhesive backing in the replacement battery faced "upward" towards the watch face rather than downwards like the factory battery. Once I figured that out it all came together. Charging it overnight after install and hopefully it lasts much longer than before!Follow up: it's been about 3-4 months since I replaced the battery and it's already losing charge faster than the original battery after many years! Unfortunately, the battery now lasts a few hours before requiring a recharge.

First of all: I will come and update this if the battery fails!!Review: I received it today, I watched a video on YouTube and got it installed in less than 20 minutes. I won't lie, you have to be patient if you have big hands like mine, but it's not rocket science. Make sure you connect everything the way it was. Also, make sure you place the battery plug in the compartment it is supposed to be following the shape it has, don't force it the wrong way (you will see what I am talking about when you're installing it). Very simple fix. I saved top dollars not buying a new watch.

The pry tools are garbage and the screwdrivers were pretty awful as well, felt like I was stripping the screw almost immediately. Ended up using my own precision set to get the watch open. The battery extraction tool was helpful in removing and reseating the battery connections and the battery worked great until I traded in the watch.

The battery arrived with in good shape with adequate charge, not old and discharged beyond usefulness. the screw drivers were fairly decent, but the plastic pry bar and pick broke. The kit doesn't come with a tool to separate the double sided tape holding the battery. The contact pad for the battery has a small tab to hold it in place and it is a very tight fit. The watch has almost twice the battery life it had originally.
