I've been in the market for a smartwatch for a while. I am very picky about the design and functionality. I love the look of the Samsung gear s3, just something about being able to spin the bezel reminds me about some of the watches I had when I was younger. So I was super stoked to find one one here on Amazon in the renewed section. Unfortunately this is an older model and was in acceptable condition but a steal at just 36.00. I noticed that the battery had a hard time keeping a charge and it would die within a few hours. Looking for accessories I found this replacement battery. It was pretty cheap and came with the tools to change it. It was not too difficult and took about 20 minutes start to finish to change. The hardest part for me was getting the back off without damaging the wires. Then putting it back together correctly. I would recommend taking some pictures before and during the process just to make it easier putting it back together. There is nothing solder it all just snapped back together easily. Put it on the charger and now it works better then ever and being 520ma the battery last almost twice as long. The only additional tools I use was a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the back off and a magnifying glass to be able to see the wire connections better. So now I'm into my watch for about 50bucks and absolutely love it.

Easy replacement. I watched a video on you tube. New battery lasted just under 3.5 days. Been consistent battery life over 2 charge cycles thus far. Ill update if that changes over the next couple months.

Battery is good charged up fine and last on average 3 and a half days. Was not easy to install because the cable on the battery didn’t fit the alignment peg in the watch, the hole was to small but it still worked. It claims to be the same size as the original battery but the description says 430 mAh and not 520 mAh but I couldn’t tell any difference. This kept my watch alive so I’m happy!

I have an old Samsung Gear S3 Frontier watch and after years of wear, the battery would no longer charge. I took it to a repair shop that does electronics repair. They said the price of replacing the battery would be about $125 but their problem was an inability to get the battery I needed. DUH? I watched a couple of YouTube videos and then ordered this replacement battery and kit for less than $20. Replacing the battery was not rocket science. I am a 71 year old woman and I managed. My watch is now as good as new.

Followed directions. Battery did not work at all. Arrived dead. Would not take a charge.

Gear S3 Frontier Tumi Edition was down for about a year but I missed it so much, I took the risk of doing the repair myself. It's was pretty easy as long as your careful and take your time! (FYI... The plastic blue tool was pretty cheaply made but it did manage to complete the job... Bairly!) Once completed, I threw it on the charger and it came back to life! Not only did it fix the issue, but I've had better battery life throughout the day than when it was a brand new watch! What use to last almost a day, gets me about a day and a half. And that does include wearing it to bed to track sleep! Definitely Recommend trying it out!

The pry tools are garbage and the screwdrivers were pretty awful as well, felt like I was stripping the screw almost immediately. Ended up using my own precision set to get the watch open. The battery extraction tool was helpful in removing and reseating the battery connections and the battery worked great until I traded in the watch.

Should've bought earlier watch sat on nightstand for 6 months with a bad battery got this 5 mins later watch back on wrist working perfect

This battery is perfect for Model Gear3 Samsung , good performance and has good quality actually before I change the battery when I pick it up from charger after two min it lost 2% or 3% energy but right now has not change.

I can get a day of charge with this battery. It's good

Unfortunately the battery seems to be depleting quickly, almost no change with the old one. Initially I thought it might be a problem with charging for the 1st time and it would get better afterwards. This did not happen however and the watch dies everyday early in the afternoon. I recharge it overnight and in the morning it shows 100% but it will die after 7- hours. When I got the watch, one charge was good for almost three days or more.
