The anchor gym door mini was everything I expected: compact, easy to install and move/reposition based on the type of exercise you want to do. It worked great with my two inch wide Spoband and the H1 held firm when I put heavy pressure on the band. I have a wall mounted H1 anchor system, but I like being able to move the mount anywhere inside or outside the house. I tried the H1 on two different width doors - no problem fitting. On some inside doors which have a stop, you may not be able to close door all the way when mounted on top or side but had no problem mounting anywhere along the door bottom. Looking forward to my first trip and being able to take my home gym on the road. Nice product, surprised they didn't think of it sooner.

I mounted one of these to the top of my door and one of these to the bottom of my door. I have 220 lb in bands but I'm only putting probably a hundred pounds through these mounts so far. If you install them properly they are rock solid and great for doing tricep extensions and curls and rows and pull downs and anything else you can conjure. It's nice that they don't actually incur any damage to my door or my door frame when using them. Quality-wise they are extremely well-built. Very quality steel and great paint and they're extremely simple to install with the little thumb twist

I have been using resistance bands and Gorilla Bow at home during the pandemic while gyms are closed, and had been using a loop type of door anchor to attach the bands. It would slow things down and make it difficult to use the Bow. I purchased this anchor and was impressed with how easy it is to use and attach to all sides of the door. There is padding to ensure that no damage is done to your door. You can quickly and easily loop bands around the hook and it is very sturdy. I would highly recommend it.

The anchor is solid, sturdy and well made. That said, it is just a bit too thick. I have the opening as wide as it can go and I can barely get it situated on my door. Once there, I am then unable to close the door completely. It is not a deal breaker, but a little annoying.

I've used a bunch different kinds of door anchors but this is easily my favorite. It's small form factor means you can just leave it on the door when you're not using it and no one seems to notice. It holds well and it can adjust to a variety of door sizes. This would be an easy attachment to anything heavy you have lying around the house. I attached it to my exercise bike while my wife was riding as an example.

I had a webbing and plastic strap in the hinge side of a door I'd been using for resistance bands, but every time I used it I felt like it was going to snap and smack me right in the face. So I was seeking something that looked like it was better built, and this metal hook caught my eye. Went to mount it and discovered on the door I wanted to use it on, I needed to cut away a small piece of the door stop / trim in order to get it to mount correctly, and for the door to close. That wasn't really an issue, no problem, and after mounting it I went to use it for the first time. Problem became if I try to use resistance bands of any stoutness, and do for instance a chest pull, away from the door, it suddenly pulls the door away and open. The one I had mounted in my hinge never caused this problem. The only way I can see to use this without it opening the door from the strain, would be to mount it on a door that closes in the opposite direction. But that's just not practical for me and my setting. Since I've already butchered my door trim to get this in, I'm reluctant to send it back, but it's a frustration because I can't do chest pulls at all, without the door flying open. I didn't read in any of the previous reviews either of these issues - having to use it only on a door that closes a certain way, or the possibility of having to cut away a piece of door trim to get it to fit. I'm not dissatisfied with the purchase, but until I find a better solution I'm extremely limited in the workout I can do, which is a frustration.

This works perfectly for my bands, I will be getting another one for the top of my door so I don't have to keep moving it.

This is way too thick to close the door, rendering it unusable.

I use this product on my door for resistance bands. It works really well and makes it easy to put the bands on and take them off really easy. I wish I had known about this product before. I will be ordering another one soon.

Was going to use in trailer but won’t work

I like that this was on a discount from it's previous price. Once fitted to the door it stays in place. I have checked it several times but it didn't need and adjustments. It works better than expected.

Fits perfectly! I have mine on the bottom of the door so I can do banded kickbacks. Its so well made and the foam padding will definitely protect the door. Really good value for money, easy to use and well packaged.
