It’s great but Amazon never delivered.
Finally found a product to stop up leaks in seams of pond liner. It was very late arriving as Amazon kept notifying me it was on the way but it never came. Ordered a refund from Amazon and went straight to seller. It arrived within 3 days. Only tricky thing is finding enough drying time between rainstorms. It takes 72 hours to cure. I have yet to find out if it works for sure but it looks like it is covering holes and gaps nicely. Wish I had this years ago. I used single use brushes. Fairly simple. Just messy but it does wash off if you wash immediately. I used disposable gloves which worked really well.

Dries black, but turns light grey when it gets wet and does not stick well
I purchased this item to paint and seal 2 small concrete ponds, one of which had developed a leak due to a hairline crack. Both ponds had been previously painted black years ago using pool paint. I bought this black Neopond Sealant and painted the ponds after thorough cleaning and drying. I applied two coats each using a roller as well as a brush for edges and corners. The sealant goes on grey but dried to black. I was going to put additional coatings a week later, but few days later, we had heavy rains and the pools filled about 3-4 inches. The part under water had turned light grey just like when the paint was applied originally. Above the waterline, the paint remained black. Also, I was concerned about if the paint would adhere to the pond as after I finished painting, I had paint all over my hand. What concerned me was that I was able to easily peel the paint off of my hands without water or any kind of solvent. I just applied another coat of paint to one of the ponds to use up what was left in the container. Before I applied the paint, I noticed that I was able to peel off little of the paint from the pond. I was going to buy another gallon of this paint to apply 2-3 more coats, but I have decided to paint over it with Flex Seal, which I have used before with success for other things. I wish that I had gone with Flex Seal for the ponds to begin with. Now I'm just hoping that painting Flex Seal over Neeopond Sealant is going to work ok.

You Will Love This Stuff as Much as You Love Your Pond!
We had an older pond and had a pro pond builder come out and re-do our pond and add a 2nd one with stream in middle, was great! but that was 25 to 30 years ago! The ponds were made of concrete that had aged well but needed help, to be excepted after that long in freezing winters and hot hot summers. I went on a internet search for the right solution for 2 over 65 people to tackle, I was not digging them up or filling them in, I came across a lot of information! Some good, some what are you talking about junk. It was so intimidating, then I found Liquid Rubber! I was so impressed in the fact that 1. the name was just what it was 2. The names for the products were for what it was to be used on, we got the NeoPond, because it was for Ponds and safe for fish and plants 3. I could actually understand the directions. We also bought the Liquid Rubber Multi-Purpose Primer, it said it was for Concrete and wood, great, done! I wish we had pictures of before, but I do have after's to share. If you need help just give them a call ask for Trevor he is great. Love this product and company. Included a ideal we did also. We put our filter, UV light, fountain combo into our sunk pump for water fall into the lid of the bucket of sunk pump, We cut the shape out of top, tested it in swimming pool and worked great! This hid both, as they are under water and black In top pond we used the Liquid Rubber to paint the old bottom of a bird bath to set the filter for that pond on, Now we are just waiting for the curing time to do its thing, add water and enjoy! PS I was going back and forth about wanting the pond to be blue again, but LOVE the black, everything, fish, plants & frogs show up better! and other stuff doesn't. A Cordell

Good sealant, but expensive
Highly recommend to go through the Tips on the product description to ensure the sealant will bond strong and prevent creak/leak. I cleaned the pond first, make sure the surface was completely dried, then applied the sealant evenly. I left it dry for 36 (more than 24 as recommended tips), and checked or any cracks/leaks before applied another coat. It works great, but just on an expensive side.

Definitely does what it says it does
I have used different products and all of them have failed. This one has worked so good.

Good sealer
I was looking for something to seal the inside of a boat so I could make it a pond. This stuff worked great. Used the primer first the 2 coats of neopond. It does go on grey, but it dries black. First coat is thin and seems like it doesn't coat well, but the second coat goes on and looks great.

Do not use on concrete pond - blisters off immediately
I followed the directions exactly and applied three coats of Neopond sealant to a concrete pond. As soon as I started filling it with water, the sealant bubbled up and formed blisters everywhere. I had to tear it all out, which took longer than applying it, and start over from scratch. This product completely failed on concrete. Do not buy this for waterproofing ponds!

Goes on way too thin.
It's decent, but I'm not a huge fan. I appreciate how it breaks up into globs to fill in cracks, but it applies relatively thinly and leaks after using two buckets. Ultimately, I opted for a liner that cost half the price and completed my project in just half an hour. Skip the hassle and just get a liner.

This product is very easy to apply. I brushed it onto a cement pond that was leaking and crumbling. Brushed it clean first then brushed it on. Was dry enough for recoat by the time the first coat was completed. The pond held water soon after.

Paint manufacturers have decided that water based latex acrylic paint is good enough. It is not. This paint washes off in the rain. It peels up on the bottom of the pool. It is a terrible product. All latex paints (not to be confused with actual liquid rubber) are garbage. The entire paint industry is currently a gigantic scam. Bring back proper oil and urethane paints please. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

I use this plant friendly pond sealant to seal the inside of planter pots, even though I weatherproof the outside of pots with either colour spray or clear coat spray. This prolongs the life of garden pots tremendously, in the long run saving money. Also, coat the inside of hollow pedestals, bird baths, etc. Anything in the garden with a hollow.

Used to line the inside of a leaky wooden barrel water fountain. Brushed on 5 coats. Grey when wet. Dries black. Stopped the leaks.
