This has worked quite well for our family, but you have to make sure you follow exactly how close to the forehead to get. Otherwise you will get many different readings.

I purchased this as a gift for a baby shower. The mother-to-be loves it. It is easy to use, accurate, and easy to read. It is not heavy and is easy to hold while taking the temperature.

Update: the company was able to send me a new project that is working flawlessly, so far it seems to be doing everything I expect and really is an ease of mind. The product stopped working after a month. We got it to ease our mind with a new baby and it now is useless. It constantly shows an error when reading temperature on both baby or adult. The error means the temp is out of range which is not the case. It read a temp of 101, as I was perfectly healthy. It read a room temp of 42 degrees when our thermostat read 80. Would not recommend.

This thermometer is a piece of garbage. You should never have bought it. It’s not accurate at all. Total waste of money.

First let me say I LOVED this thermometer. It’s so easy to use, you can silence the beep so that you can check your baby’s temperature in his or her sleep. Has both standard and metric measurements. Fantastic feature. I love how quickly it works and it’s a wonderful thermometer. However, after just a few uses, all of a sudden we are getting wild error messages and loud, long beeps. It will no longer check temperatures. When I tested the thermometer on the “home” setting it said my house was 189 degrees Fahrenheit. It reads “Hi” on my daughter and I even though our fevers were not above 101 (as confirmed by a different thermometer) I don’t know what to do but I’m very sad that such a great thermometer didn’t last more than 2 weeks. I threw the box away or else I would return it. Very disappointed.
