Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 Charger 12/30(3) 230V - BPC123044022

This was simple to install in our boat. Used it to update an older charging unit. Straight forward to just plug and play. The app is easy to use and connects easily every time. Being able to use it in power supply mode is brilliant too. Can leave the fridge on and not worry about over charging! Cold beers!

I have a few different types of batteries around and was looking for a charger that takes good care of them. I have wet, AGM and gel batteries and this charger copes with them all. It also chargers LiFePo4 batteries and since these are the future, I now have a battery charger that is future proof. The Bluetooth feature makes the setting and checking of the state of charge very easy. However, I’m quite disappointed with the range. My charger is in my garage and the signal won’t go through a single brick wall. Overall I’m very pleased with it.

I'm extremely pleased. Few months ago my old marine batteries died all together and shortly after getting a new set (4x110amph) the old charger of other make reached the end of it's very long life. I was told to get the Victron as a reliable non Chinese product. I compared the prices, of available chargers and wasn't sure if it makes sense to pay a hundred more for what seemed to be just the same as other devices but my neighbour just intalled this model on his boat and was swearing by it. I bought it, installed it pretty easily and left it connected to my totally drained batteries. In about 5h the entire set was reconditioned and fully charged. I can't recommend this charger enough. The app also tells you in what stage of charging your batteries are. My friends from other boats also told me that they managed to recondition some old batteries that other chargers, failed to recharge so it seems that this is the real deal. I'm very very pleased A+++

Up to usual Victron high quality but but not rated for different batteries ie agm, wet & so on? No leads included, 3 connectors for 3 battery positives but only one connector for 3 battery negatives which is difficult as 6mm wire is required for 30amp output current. Bluetooth app very good.

Great peace of kit using in a motor home with Lifpo4 batteries

I can't believe how efficient this charger is. A great addition to our off grid system. I wish I'd invested in one before now. As it showed how bad our old charger functioned.

These are brilliant. multi output is handy, connects via Bluetooth have wide variety of presets and is able to be totally adjusted to suit your battery. very happy

Using as an over night top up charger for small solar setup. 4x LiFePO4 12v 100ah with BMS are happy on default Li-Ion setting at 30 amps but charger gets quite warm running at max for several hours. Found custom setting in the app to limit it to 25amps and it runs cooler. Night mode at 15 amps is also an option. Happy with the purchase. Victrons are worth the extra, especially for the decent support forums etc. BTW, the screw terminals are for up to 10mm2 / AWG6 cable ( no DC cable supplied )
