Great Sachets - Take your time to dehydrate and you'l be fine
Superb little sachets. Helpful to see the silica gel change colour so you know when it's time to recharge. I have had them about 1 month, and have just recharged them. The instructions say for 5 sachets it's 3 minutes a side at 700w power (check your microwave power setting). After reading that some people had bad outcomes when dehyrating I exercised a bit of caution.I put 5 x sachets in my microwave on a paper towel on medium power (which for me is 600w) for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes I removed and checked the colour of the gel. I could see that they were not quite fully dehydrated as the silica was almost back to original colour but not quite. I turned them over and did 1 minute on medium power. The result perfect. No explosions, no leakage or other crazy stuff happened. It's easy to see the moisture on your kitchen roll when turning them over. Be mindful when handling they are very warm!As my sachets were not totally absorbed the full amount of time was not needed to dehydrate them.Allow the sachets to cool completely before replacing. Job Done!

Seems effective
I bought these to help dry out cycling shoes quickly to stop them getting stinky. They were dripping wet so I did an initial dry with newspaper rolled up, then stuck two of these packs in each shoe. This was just overnight in June. They had about 10 hours and were definitely dry enough to wear. Really glad to be able to take these into work when I cycle in in the rain and not have to risk damaging my shoes drying them on a hot radiator. I think in a warm place they'll work even faster. Not quite sure whether they're completely full when you get a few specks as they weren't much heavier but the proof is in the dry shoes I guess.

Great for the Damp Island Environment
We live in an old damp house, insulation has been upgraded but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. This is perfect for everything you want to keep dry, linens, towels, spices, herbs, flour and clothes. I keep these little packets in all my drawers and they really help. I also put them in my storage boxes for when I separate winter and summer clothes. I would have given them a 5 star but the program wouldn't let me.

A must for anyone that stores dried herbs/mushrooms etc
These are great as they are small enough to squidge into small dried herb containers and there are so many of them that as soon as the orange disappears you can replace with a new one. I use my air fryer to dehydrate used ones again and this works fine although takes much longer than I would have liked. It is also worth using a micro scale as often, when dehydrating, the weight has almost returned to its dehydrated weight but the crystals have not yet turned orange. At this point I use them again, rather than waste time and power trying to get them any drier. I store dehydrated lions mane mushrooms which cost a fortune so keeping them cracker dry is really important to me.

Works to a degree.
These work as intended however on my first attempt at “recharging” and following the instructions to the letter one of the packs burst along the seam and is now unusable.
