This is a small saucepan. I used this to cook brown rice. I would say it can serve 1 to 5 people in a small portion of rice. In a large serving, it will be at least 3 to 4 people especially in soup. Is this helpful?

You can probably find a video on line. Line up the arrows and then twist the lid to secure it. It should be lined up. You could also call customer service.

what is the height or depth of the cooker?

Hi Juan. The 3.75 Qt cooker is listed on Amazon as having the dimensions 14x9x4 with a 7.5" diameter. The diameter is close but I have no idea what the other number are or their unit of measure. The interior diameter is 7.75". The interior heigh is 4.5", or 4 1/8" if the insert is put inside the pot. As for the exterior measurements they are 16.5" L x 8.75" W x 67.25" H.
