I bought these for grandchildren to use to catch minnows at a nearby creek. I warned the kids to use them wisely or they would break. They are not the sturdiest nets but they worked very well for the purpose and they had a lot of fun using them. Since they were not very expensive, I wasn't worried about the kids breaking one. But none broke in the couple hours they used them.

My toddler and his friends love these nets. We have used them for pond dipping, "catching" things from his water table, and most recently, trying to catch bubbles. Easy to use. Not super sturdy, but the kids love them.

They do bend closer to the net mesh part. The extension part is durable and is easy enough for kids. They work well in the water and out of the water.

VERY good products

I bought these because I wanted to catch bugs for my carnivorous plants. I like that they are cheap and I get three of them. However, if you are trying to catch anything smaller than a butterfly, they are pretty much useless. The mesh is far too large for catching many bugs. Last night I caught a moth with this net, and it just closed its wings and squeezed right out of the large mesh holes. I might buy some other fabric and make my own net because I hate to just throw it away. If I was buying another bug net, I would definitely pick something with a finer mesh. The functionality of the bug net is seriously held back by the low-quality mesh netting. Coarse holes pretty much defeat the purpose of having a bug net.

I purchased these butterfly nets for a friend who has chicks that were difficult to capture to put in the coup for the night. It worked perfectly

Fun for big people and the little ones. I ordered mine to catch an escaped parakeet and wa la it worked perfect!!

The net part is strong but the telescopic handle keeps coming loose.
