This stuff is very effective for minimizing breakouts without irritating the skin. We like the value of the large size since the whole family, kids and adults, use it.

Will never use another face wash! Ever! I should have found this a long time ago. It makes my skin soft and even cleared up a really bad breakout I had recently really quickly. Im in love with this product and hope they never change it or discontinue. I also ordered another one for my son.

This stuff is the best for my sensitive skin. Its the only face wash I have used that works well and doesn't irritate me.

For reference I’m female nearing 30 and my skin type is.. clogged. Is easily clogged a skin type?I don’t have thick ruddy skin, more like delicate but stubborn and easily clogged skin (comedonal acne not inflammatory acne). I pretty much can’t use any type of lotion, gel, oil, or moisturizer except maybe fresh aloe and everything else aggravates and clogs up my face.My pores clog easily from environmental factors as well as touching my face.. it is what it is.I use this face wash as a sort of contact therapy for acne and clogged pores.i wash my face once a day before bed so I only use this product (obviously) once a day. Sometimes I wash my face with a different face wash first and then use this one as a mask and leave it on 10 minutes and barely feel a tingle. Other times I put it on and it burns within seconds (in which case I rinse off quickly). Point is that this CAN and WILL compromise your moisture barrier and is prone to user error.BUT this has cleared up my face more than any other product that I have tried! It’s really quite shocking. What it WONT do (if your acne is like mine) is get rid of a clogged pore that is already formed and taking residence on your face. It may help it come to a head for extraction, and I’m totally fine with that.. but the true amazing thing is the PREVENTION that this face wash has provided. I still have clogged pores.. but not 100s more like 20. Huge difference.Bottom line: if you leave this on like a mask for several minutes or however long you decide, you will highly likely make a mistake and over dry your skin so be very, very careful. I’m sure it’s safer to just lather rinse but that’s not the way I do it and I wanted to share my experience.This face wash has really helped my skin and I’m happy with the results.UPDATE:Since I left such a detailed review I felt the need to update. I rarely use this face wash at this point because it was drying me out with daily use and dry skin=clogged pores for me. I WILL use it when I have the active/inflammatory acne popping up. Lately I have actually be attempting to heal my skin with honey. Yes honey, raw and COLD PRESSED (important) I spread it on my face use it like a mask and wash it off. It’s been a slow process, not a quick fix (I’m playing the long game) but I have been slowly seeing my skin get clearer and also leaves my face feeling moisturized. So basically I only use honey most days but I will occasionally use traditional face wash. It’s been working really good I’m actually quite impressed. Google “washing face with honey” and read some blogs if your interested and remember don’t use anything but the thick whiteish honey that comes in a jar (aka cold-pressed). August 2014 my cousin introduced me to the Acnefree Severe Cleansing System that comes with 4 products. It cleared my acne up quickly and completely and it is the best acne treatment product I have ever used. Unfortunately the face wash in the kit finished around February. It was so good that I didn't really want to use anything else on my face but obviously I still had to wash it so I was using random face washes. My skin was not a fan of this and I broke out terribly (especially also because of stress and heat from my climate). Acnefree isn't sold where I live so I have to either buy it online or wait until I travel to the US. Hence the long delay.When I bought this cleanser I still had a little toner left and quite a bit of lotion. I made a huge mistake however because I was looking to replace the face wash from the Acnefree severe kit, I bought this one because it was the same brand and the ingredients were the same.BUT BE CAUTIOUS. THE SEVERE SYSTEM FACE WASH HAS 10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE AND THIS ONLY HAS 2.5% BENZOYL PEROXIDE.I should also mention aside from that one really bad breakout my acne is mild to moderate. My skin is very cooperative with every face wash, it's just that some work a lot better than others. When the severe face wash finished I wasn't consistent with washing my face, I wasn't using one face wash and I was very stressed and in a hot climate. Hence, the really bad breakout.I used this cleanser for 2 months and I use a lot and wash my face twice a day and there's still about half a bottle left. It cleared my bad breakout up but I still notice a few zits or small bumps occasionally. The bad breakout also unfortunately left so many dark spots across my cheeks especially the right one. This cleanser does nothing for dark spots and I'm mad at myself for waiting til my acne got bad before treating it as that was what left me with dark spots when I had a very even complexion before.Bottom line: If you have mild acne and just need something to keep occasional zits at bay this is good but I prefer a thorough system with a cleanser, toner and lotion and because my acne isn't too bad using products with a higher dosage of benzoyl peroxide kills the acne quicker and keeps my entire face clear for much longer even up to a month after I stop using it.
