Wall Mount Compatible with SimpliSafe Camera

Works perfectly to attach a SimpliSafe first generation indoor camera to a wall. I don't know why SimpliSafe doesn't offer this accessory directly, but this one is well made and does the job.

This product is exactly what I needed it to be. If you're here reading this review then you too found the stand that comes standard with the SimpliSafe Indoor Camera to be too limiting in terms of where the camera can be placed. The place I needed my camera to be was about 12 feet high on a wall overlooking the entire room. This wall mount made that possible! I give this product full marks. It comes with pretty much everything you need to assemble it and it's pretty straight forward on how it all comes together. If it came with instructions, I don't remember looking at them. Please know that you'll still need some tools to get the wall mount together; I'd say at the minimum a screw driver, a small adjustable wrench or something similar to hold a couple of bolts in place, and a drill if you have thick walls or zero patience with hand turning screws into walls. I only really have two complaints, and they're such small complaints that I didn't feel it worth removing a point or anything. The first complaint is that the screws would occasionally loosen as I tried to find the perfect direction for the camera to point. This meant I had to tighten everything back up a few times. But, once I had everything like I wanted it, everything has stayed in place. If that changes I'll come back on here and amend that statement. The second complaint, and it's a super small one, is that the camera's mounting plate (I don't know what else to call this) doesn't fully "click/snap" into the back of the camera like the stand provided by SimpliSafe does. The mounting plate is designed exactly like the one on the factory provided stand, but there's no point where it the two parts lock like Legos. This makes total sense though, because they're completely different materials. This item appears to be a well made 3D printed piece, while the stand provided by SimpliSafe is some kind of metal. The only way I could really see this being an issue for someone is if they're trying to mount their camera upside down.

We own 3 simplisafe cameras and I’ve been looking for a simplisafe wall mount for quite some time. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this product on Amazon. The product is sturdy and easy to set up and install. Further, the camera fit on the wall mount perfectly. The mount gives you plenty of room to adjust the camera so you can get your camera at the perfect angle for your room. Moving your simplisafe camera to the wall gives you better visibility into the room and gives you great options when there is no obvious table or counter for your camera. While the wall mount works great, I’ve noticed that our simplisafe cam is less likely to pick-up motion when it’s wall mounted. Perhaps this is due to the new height of the camera, but I’m pleased with the results nonetheless. If you’re looking for a wall mount solution, this product will get the job done.

These are 3D printed so they may feel slightly less sturdy than typical plastic but they work well and are fairly easy to install. My one concern is the SimpliSafe cameras don’t lock into place as they do with the stock stands. While I don’t anticipate this being a huge issue, it does make me a bit uneasy if they ever got bumped, but it’s a solid solution for these cameras and glad I bought them.

Wanted to mount my indoor simlpisafe camera in a corner. This works perfectly. It’s 3D printed and it’s fit just as tight as the Simplisafe stock stand does. Easy installation and instructions. Even provided accurate template on back of instruction so no waste of anything. Provided all hardware to mount and install. Able to angle this exactly where I needed it. Will buy again if I need to!

Let me start with I read the reviews. Did not think this would be so cheaply made. I didn’t expect great but man I just used two fingers to tighten the screws and the thing was still loose next thing I know before it got tight it snapped! So I had a replacement sent. You bet I spent more time being beyond extra cautious so I got that one to work. The plastic still felt very flimsy like if you breathe on it too hard it will break. I get it’s 3D printed but maybe have better reinforced parts of solid plastic could be helpful. Or better yet sell something with better material! Especially for nearly $20 for a piece of plastic that with the screws I would only value at $5 tops so at most should only be sold for $10 to make profit and help with machine maintenance. I seriously was considering going to Home Depot and making my own version of this out of metal just don’t have the time to tinker with that right now. Ok getting off my soap box. I hope this helps somebody and if the seller is reading this I hope you listen to the comments and improve design.

Quality product. Perfect fit for the SimpliSafe indoor wired camera. Positioning of camera has great range of motion and locks in place to prevent slipping.
