Renpure Tropicals Australian Sun Lite Highlighter, 8 Fluid Ounce

Doesn't really lighten hair much. I have dark blonde to light brown hair. I ordered this product hoping for very subtle change. I hardly noticed any change after using the entire bottle over two weeks on my med to long hair. I tried both the sun and hair dryer to enhance effects with almost no results. Kinda a waste of time and money.

This stuff definitely softened my hair and kept it nice all day, just like others said. Not sure it did much for lightening up of my hair, but I bought for the softening side of product not the highlighter claim.

I used this when I went to the beach for a week and I sprayed it in my hair every day. I have easily tangled, long hair and usually don't use much product in it, but I decided to try this.When I first put it in, I thought I'd made a HUGE mistake. It felt rough and crunchy and smelled a little strange, like a perfumed wet dog. The wet dog smell faded after a few minutes, but the crunch was still there. I left it in despite that, pulling my hair back and heading to the beach.It wasn't until I went to rinse my hair out that I realized how awesome this stuff was. My hair was soft as silk despite being in the heat, sun and ocean breeze all day long! I couldn't believe it! My hair has never felt so soft or smooth and UNTANGLED after a day at the beach!The highlighting was very gradual, but I have dark brown hair so perhaps it would work better or faster on someone with lighter hair. However by the end of the week, I did have some subtle highlights that weren't there before. More than that, I had the softest hair ever!This probably isn't a good every day product because of the strange crunchy feeling I had after applying it, but for being out in the sun on the beach it was perfect!

Smells great.Works, more gentle effects than sun in. Takes longer than sun in, however the blonde highlights are baby/platinum/beige as opposed to sun in golden/brassy after several applications. The results of this product are better, just slower.My daughter used this brand of shampoo and conditioner in conjunction with the highlighter.She has managed to keep her roots blonde using this product as she waits for summer to roll back around. Her hair lightens naturally in the sun, then turns a drab dark beige during the winter.One benefit, this product did not turn her hair orange during swim team (heavy chlorinated pool water) as the sun in did last year. Her hair stayed blonde. And the smell is pleasant.

Makes hair soft but does not lighten it. I have blonde hair already so usually stuff like this works really fast, but I have seen no change in my hair.

I used this product 3-4 days while in Arizona and got limited highlights but very healthy hair. It is basically oil with some lemon in it. I pulled my hair back in hair bands into a tight ponytail, sprayed this on, and had cruncy but tight hair - fine for hiking. However, after I washed it out my hair was incredibly soft - which never happens after a long day of hiking in the dry desert. I couldn't stop feeling my hair. Highlights are not any more than if I had just used lemon juice - but that leaves my hair feeling like straw. Bottle says "over time our product will gently lighten your hair". I will continue to use for the protection from the sun, and a little highlighting is nice, but do not expect this to significantly lighten your hair.

I have naturally red hair, and am currently growing out henna in my hair. I used this lemon oil on my hair, and it made my hair incredibly soft and helped with bringing out my natural strawberry blond lending it little glistening highlights. I find it very good for softening and conditioning the hair gently while blonding it...it was successful for me because my hair naturally blondes in the summer anyway. I love the smell of lemon and it is pure with no chemicals and is not tested on animals. I love this product and would buy it again and make it a standby in my repertoire of hair products.

Takes a few uses to see the slight color difference. Doesn't dry hair out like the other "lightener" so I guess that's good.If you want your hair to gradually lighten, give this a try
