Flimsy thin metal which is quite malleable. If you’re looking for heavy duty then look elsewhere. This worked for small children’s books but I wouldn’t use it for an encyclopedia set or large textbooks. Could probably work with binders.Originally I thought the circle wavy design was good idea but now I realize that soft cover books can get caught in the uneven surface so I’d recommend smooth ends if you’re a little OCD and don’t want your paperbacks snagging.One more thing...stretch open slowly. It’s hard to get it to shut or narrow without bending the frame.

This product does not hold the books and binders up that I need for my daily reference in school (I'm a Teacher...). It collapsed, breaking several things on my desk, and I am not quite pleased with the product at all.I reduced the number of books, and was able to utilize it, but it did not fit the need to have all of my books and binders handy for my Special Education reference on my desk.I do not recommend this product whatsoever. I do not wish to go through the packaging and such to return it, so I will use it for the most important, though all of the ones needed are, in my endeavors. It will be replaced, though I do not know what with......so disappointed, as the description stated it would be what I needed... UGH!

We had a stack of books and a three ring binder that was getting out of hand. This little gem organized them in 10 seconds flat. The accordian-like holder expands/contracts instantly when you add/remove a book so it always looks nice, and the books don't slither and fall. Nice bookends.

The bookends do a great job of keeping books upright. The unit is adjustable and well made. I put rubber feet on the bottom to keep the unit in place and it works very well.

I bought to use this on my desk to hold a couple 1" binders; too flimsy for daily use of removing/replacement of these lightweight binders.

I just received this bookrack and binders to put in it. It is great and will hold them well. I would buy it again.

I have such a mixed feeling about this! At first it looks so wobbly that I think I should return it! But once I put the books in, it actually works really well well and kept all the heavy textbooks together! It can also be adjusted to different width easily. It’s a good buy!
