Solid product
Solid holster.I like the diverse applications that this brand offers. However, I prefer Blackhawk holsters because they are easier to switch out. For example, when inwas deployed, I had a drop-leg rig, and a chest rig. I could swap my holster to either rig by just depressing 2 tabs. That way, I could adjust my setup to accommodate my situation: chest if im in a vehicle, or drop-leg if I'm dismounted. This brand requires that you take it off and unscrew 2 bolts in order to switch it around like that.Aside from that, this is very well made and works great.

Hard to fit
I’m editing my first review where I simply could not fit this.I was able to get this in my vest after struggling for a while. This isn’t designed well, as it’s hard to simultaneously fit the top and bottom clips. It requires holding the top MOLLE loops open with something (I used two flathead screwdrivers) while slipping in the bottom clips. A staggered system with a bit wider area where they don’t need to be forced open while trying to get the bottom clips in would be better. Also, after fitting on the holster, it wiggles some. It’s not a firm, secure fit, but at least it doesn’t feel like the holster is going to come off.

"Kinda" works with the Canik TP9 SFx included holster.
I bought this adapter to see if it would be compatible with the holster that came with my Canik TP9 SFx. Using the screw that's on the Canik holster, it secures on there pretty good. It doesn't line up exactly with the splines, so you have to settle for either a slight forward cant, or a slight rearward cant(it's BARELY off of 90', either way you attach it). Not that big of a deal though, because it was bought to shoot DIY run 'n' gun courses with my buddies. Decent item, for the price. I like that it has 2 different belt loops, for different size belts.

Works, but it had to do a little modification to make it work.
I too have an IMI holster for my 1911 and was unaware that this isn't compatible despite how similar they look, but I was determined to make work despite my own mistake. I simply bought a longer screw of the same diameter that was a little longer and it somewhat holds it in place on my vest. The holster does move around a little but it really doesn't bother me and kinda turned out to be a blessing in since it allows me to move my sidearm out of the way when I need to access my extra magazines. While that isn't the fault of the Adapter I cannot really give it a negative rating, but I can say that the different mounting sizes can be confusing and make sure to double check that this is compatible with your holster.

Not IMI-compatible, bummer
Man, I wish this had worked out. I got this the use with the Recover Tactical 1911 grip and holster system. Recover uses the IMI attachments for paddles, Molle attachments, etc. It looks very, very similar to Orpaz, but the teeth do not line up correctly. This is on me, i should have done a little more research before purchasing. That said, this thing seems tough and well made, and I really like where my pistol would hang if it worked out.

I’d prefer a better design.
While it is as advertised, I wish I had known that the tips were flat instead of hooked. This allows it to slip out of the MOLLE straps on my rig if I’m running or other rigorous movements. I have to make up for this by wearing my rig a bit tighter than what is necessary with other brands/attachments. I do like the holster I bought it for though, which fits my gun perfectly, and the belt clip attachment the holster came with is top notch.

Works great for airsoft!
I do airaoft on weekends with a group of friends, and used this adapter to attach my glock lookalike airsoft gun to my vest, worked great! I don't own a real firearm, so am unsure if it could handle the weight or not, but works fine for my purposes

Very nice addition to my Orpaz Glock holster
I like the Orpaz holster after some modifications to allow the Gen 5 G45 to fit. This paddle adaptor works perfectly to quickly secure the holster on my side. Due to the restrictions of the state ccw permit I need to remove my holster a couple times a day to perform certain tasked outside the house. This paddle adaptor is perfect allowing for fast deployment with no real belt removal or adjustment
