I was hesitant to order this but I need a little more rigid support after surgery on a broken wrist. Doctor gave me a great splint but I need something more comfortable for sleeping. I watched a you tube video on this moldable splint. You can cut it, shape it and wrap it. I suggest an arm sock so the splint doesn’t rub on the skin ( I made one from a tee shirt—nice and soft). This is a great addition to my first aid supplies and would have made a great support the day I broke my wrist. Buy one before the injury and have it on hand. I have updated my review with products and technique to wrap and stablize using the splint on my injury. After surgery there is metal pin sticking out of my wrist causing a lot of discomfort. I ended up purchasing a yard of “sleeve” for my arm and cutting it to fit. The fabric sleeve that I made left depressions on skin. The first aid splint is amazing. I rounded the corners for added comfort. I hope the step by step is helpful. I am on week 5 post surgery and I think this technique gave me the best comfort and support when not wearing the doctors soft splint.

I bought this to put into my emergency first aid kit on my Adventure Mortorcycle. Though I haven't used it yet I'm very happy with its compact size and weight. It appears to be made very well and should be able to support moderate to light breaks. ( hopefully never mine !! ). I feel much more confident having this in the kit while riding out in the wild. Will add to this review if I ever have to break it out in an emergency. Going to buy another for my truck's first aid kit.

They mold well to any finger. They can be shortened by cutting them with a pair of poultry shears. They work really well.

I bought this to put in my backpack for hiking trips. When it arrived my six year old son was with me so he became my wounded hiker. From a six year old"It feels soft and light weight I could wear this all day." I found it to be a quality product at a great price. I hope I never gave to use it but I feel confident it will hold up if I do need it.
