Trumpeter 1/72 Sukhoi Su30MKK Flanker G Russian Fighter

I have built three different Trumpeter scale model aircraft (all 1/72...the F-105G, the MiG-29, and this one) and they all assemble without any issues. The way the weapons hardpoints fit, along with the weapons, is phenomenal. The cockpit is generally lacking in major detail, but the panel lines are recessed and the canopy is easy to mask. Easily in my top couple of model companies, along with Tamiya and Academy.

The kit is made out of good quality plastic and the parts are of good quality as well. I was disappointed to find that there weren't enough detailed parts, especially for the cockpit. This is too expensive for the level of details. The quality of instructions is good, unfortunately it also contains a lot of mistakes. The illustrations are clear but they are not complete and doesn't contain some of the parts to be used. It comes with a complete set of decals, including for the missiles - which is good. EDIT: After Finishing I can also conclude the quality of the decals is below standard. The decals curl up when taken off the sheet and some of the decals are actually stuck together. Same story for the labels on the decals, which seems to stick to the individual decals.
