Fixed my bike
I left some normal 10% ethanol fuel in my bike over the winter and my tank rusted. I used this to seal the tank back up and it is working great now. I highly recommend this to seal up a fuel tank that has some rust in it. It took some work to get the rust out, but this sealer was simple to install. Just pour it into the tank and swish it all over the inside of the tank, then poor out the left over. Actually had enough to do my sons bike as well.

This stuff is Golden A+!!!
The quality of this product is really good and just this small can filled up my full sized motorcycle tank. If you plan on using this after cleaning out a rusted tank let me help you out so you do it the right way.Use evaporust from oreily and pour half of the bottle in the tank with some nuts or bolts to loosen up the rust. I'd start my shaking it a lot and then let it sit for about 20-30 mins on each side of the tank, shake again, and pour out. Add the other half and repeat the process. (Remember to save this stuff for later it's reusable) After you've done that get lots and lots of hot water and rinse out the tank about 4-5 times. Swoosh is around a lot to break free all the left over bits of rust. Once you've completely flushed out all the chemical and the water is coming out clear completely drain the tank, and grab yourself a heat gun or a blow dryer (which is what I used) and hold that boy over the whole of the tank and let it dry dry dry. Check inside after a few minutes to see if it's still wet but obviously the longer the better (DONT RUSH THE PROCESS) Once you're fully confident it's try use this sealer, mix it up a bit and then pour it in. Use a funnel or what i did was roll up wax paper in a tube and used that as a funnel. slowly turn the tank in all directions and let it cover the inside. Let dry for 30mins to and hour and kaboom. Nice and ready to go. Hope this helped someone in need✅

TOTAL CRAP
The media could not be loaded. Stay away from this product after I put it in my gas tank it didn’t even make it a month before everything started peeling off and clogging my fuel pump. Probably going to have to buy a new gas tank now if I can’t salvage this one absolutely waste of money do not buy!!!!

Durable epoxy coating.
I used this to redo a tank I had done with Kreem. The tank had sat with ethanol gas in it for five years. It was badly rusted with the Kreem product floating in the rusty gas. Hind sight being 20/20 I would have bought the KBS cleaning products as well because as it turned out I spent more on vinegar and muratic acid. After draining the tank and hosing it out, I soaked it in vinegar for two days, that got most of the rust and Kreem out of it but not all. I then put gravel in it and secured it inside my dryer and rotated it for about an hour. Again, more rust and Kreem out but not all. I moved on to the muratic acid which produced some very toxic vapors and was quite dangerous to handle. But after a couple acid washes and rinses the tank was down to bare metal but the flash rust was a problem. Reading the KBS on line instructions I decided the flash rust was less of a problem than acid residue so I did a final acid wash and rinsed with the hose, then put a shop vac in it to dry. I let the tank sit in the sun a day to make sure it was dry then applied the KBS. The product is more like an epoxy as opposed to a paint like Kreem. It seems much more durable and more adhesive. Getting the stuff off your fingers is next to impossible, it literally sticks like super glue. I’m very pleased with the final product, I doubt I’ll be redoing this one. If I had any advice to the first timer, I’d say follow the directions, use the KBS cleaner products and be patient, patient, patient. This is a week long project, not an afternoon. Take your time and do it right.
