I started reading this devotional every morning as I have my coffee. Joyce never disappoints in bringing forth, direct from God's word, instruction & guidance for things we face in our daily living. Uplifting, inspiring & starts my day off with scripture & motivation to begin my day. This book has truly brought me closer in my relationship to God & reawakened my hunger for reading God's word. Highly recommend.

This devotional is amazing. I love that it starts with a Bible verse and then connects it to our lives. The devotionals are so easy to understand and they really relate to your life. Perfect way to start your morning. I’ll definitely be gifting this book to others.

The message of this book is so inspiring! Joyce consistently echoes her theme…that we are redeemed by the grace of God. By accepting God’s grace we are freed from fear, guilt, worry, self-rejection and all the negativity that previously filled our lives. I gave you the whole book, but read it…it’s that good!

I really like this daily devotional. I find the additional descriptive words she inserted into the bible verses distracting though. I try to ignore anything in parens, but it's hard when there are a lot, and I'm to the point where I may ignore the bible verse at the beginning all together now. I would prefer to read the bible verse as it was written.

This daily devotional has really encouraged me to read the word of God so that I can get closer to Him and understand His will for my life. Joyce breaks down scriptures in practical and easy terms. I start my day seeking God and his word and this devotional sets the tone for my day.

I bought 2 books as gifts for my teen twins about a year ago, and since then they and I have been reading the daily devotional; which we find very inspirational and spiritually uplifting. Usually one of them would read and then we would have a devotional discussion which we all seem to enjoy! There's no way to express our appreciation to the author, Joyce, as she has become part of our life experiences thru her writings. I have a couple of her other books which we read often as well.
