These are really good cameras they are great for night vision, they can give you live footage or you could pay for the subscription to be able to record the movement. They pick up really good sometimes it picks up movement from something small.

I just got this and hooked it up to my 7-in monitor which you can get here on Amazon for around $33. Using 50 ft of video wires I also got here on Amazon. And the picture both daytime and the night vision are super clear. So much so that I'm buying a second one on payday. (Update: got my 2nd one today Jan 12). That way one will be pointed in the front yard for FedEx deliveries and the other one will face the other direction so I can watch my 2 dogs in the yard.

Update 12/26/2016- While I continued to have issues to where a replacement was required, Zosi support has been very good. All communication has been by email and they are timely in their responses and are truly intent on satisfying the customer. My replacement system is working well now thanks to their focus on satisfying the customer. I would recommend the system based on their customer support and goal to satisfy the customer. Update 11/14/2016- I emailed Zosi support about the motion detection and received a reply a few hours later (pretty fast given the time difference between the west coast and china!) They had detailed instructions that got my motion detection working and working well. I did find the quick start guide later and it had all the instructions I needed. Guess I should've paid more attention. I decided to upgrade my rating to 3 stars since everything works. But I believe that is a fair rating given the security issues I noted earlier during remote viewing. Update 11/3/2016- I see amazon deleted the URL for the dept of consumer affairs website about the insecure nature of IP cameras. It is too bad as I think people should be aware of what they are buying.' Today I tried the recording feature, scheduled and manual. Manual works fine consistently. Scheduled recording worked well for non-motion activated recording. The motion activated recording simply does not work. By default it is set to record 24/7 but there is no file available to view. I did some experimenting and still can't get the motion activated recording to work. Too bad, that is exactly why I bought this camera setup was to have motion activated recording. the old saying holds true, you get what you pay for. I am downgrading the rating to two stars. If this system was advertised as a live view, manual record view only then it might appeal to someone who is looking for those features only but it should not be advertised as doing more than it is capable. of. Update: I would not recommend the remote viewing via the web (from outside your network). The web interface does not appear to encrypt the data being sent over the internet and uses a remote server. Anyone in the world can access your camera views when you are accessing your security camera over the internet or web.(like logging in with your phone or laptop from another persons house) I could not find a way to encrypt the data. Setting a password versus using the default helps, but again your password is being sent over the web unencrypted and can be intercepted by a hacker. I downgraded my rating to three stars based on the insecure remote viewing over the web method. The system is good for in network monitoring so far and I will update my review after trying the recording function. Previous Review:The setup went pretty well using two of the 4 cameras. I was able to access the DVR via my network after following the recommended changes in Internet Explorer so that it would accept unsigned active X controls. The user documentation had enough information to get me started and using my own experience I was able to safely download the active X control software from the dVr (or server). I ran some ,malware checks on the active X software and did not come up with any issues. I am still a bit concerned about installing an active X control software that is not signed and requires you to drop your safe guards on active X scripts. But I did return the security levels back to the original settings and will monitor how this active X software is used. I don't remotely view the cameras on a laptop that has sensitive information and have locked down my network to prevent an outsider from taking advantage of the software. Other than that the remote viewing works well. I would have preferred a more secure method to view such as "remote Desktop" rather than a web browser. With that said, I am pretty happy with the performance of the cameras and system. The daylight views are real clear for over 70 ft. The infared night view is good to about 25-30 feet so not as useful as the daylight. However, the areas I am monitoring have motion sensing flood lights that provide a much better view to well over 60 ft. For the price I am very pleased so far, even with some of the security concerns which can be mitigated with some effort and knowledge. They are really clear and easy to install

I have never owned or installed a CCTV system before so was a little apprehensive as I was not sure how much hard work it would be or how good it would really be without spending hundreds of pounds so i set out and did my research. I ended up opting for the "ZOSI H264" which came complete with the DVR box and 4 HD cameras. It seemed to be the best-looking set at a very reasonable price. Delivery was very fast and everything was very well packaged. Instructions were all very clear and easy to follow and i didn't struggle anywhere near as much as I thought I would, infact not at all. The cables to connect the cameras up to the DVR were much longer than I had expected so I had no trouble at all positioning my cameras exactly where I wanted them. The hardest part of the whole set up was drilling a hole through my wall which you certainly don't HAVE to do but I wanted to keep it all neat and tidy and found this the best way. This took 2 people but without that part, this is easily a 1-person setup. One facing the front of the house including the car, one facing our back door (conservatory), one down the side of the house and finally one at our garage. This literally covers everywhere we would ever need to. once the setup was complete, I connected it to my network (which again was pain free) and installed the app everything just worked as it should. I also got my partners phone hooked up via the app too so we can both check out what's going on from wherever we may be. I particularly like the feature of being able to focus on one particular camera in full screen without losing any picture quality or having all four in any order you want. I found the picture quality is amazing and everything is so clear. I'm not sure why you don't see more shops using these as crime recordings always seem so grainy and unclear when you see them on the news?! I have already recommended the product to other family members who are also impressed and I will be picking up another shortly for at the office. Five stars from me!

Leaves a rainbow band where there should be any colour. Perhaps they are just incompatible with Lorex machine but all my other cameras work perfectly.

It was super easy to set up the camera and connect to the monitor, however connecting the smartphone and the PC was so difficult. Spent ages trying to figure it out and contacting the ZOSI watsapp which was no use but I finally got in contact with Ayami via Facebook who was brilliant! They took me through the whole process and turns out it’s quite easy when they tell you what you have to do and what I was doing wrong haha. They also took control of my PC remotely and sorted out the PC side and now I’ve got all my cameras up and running on a monitor, my phone and my PC. Hopefully now that I know what I’m doing I can get it on my partners phone as well :)

I got these cameras as a surveillance for my house,they were very easy to install and the picture quality is excellent with a HD & SD option,I would recommend these to someone who is looking for a simple and good quality system, I had a slight issue with a camera but the customer care was brilliant and prompt with a solution and it was solved very quickly,

The ZOSI system is neat and compact and considering the price, looks and feels really high quality. The night time infra-red glow lets people know my property is guarded by a high quality system. Loving the Mobile App, while lets me check-in whenever and wherever I want. I added a SATA 3.5inch Hard-drive for £15.00 (connectors already installed within the ZOSI DVR) which lets me record and replay video. When I sought configuration advise from the ZOSI Service Team, Richard and Doris were on hand to help me, without delay. Would recommend anytime.
