The ink works great and is waterproof/smudge proof which is perfect for inking line art before coloring with other mediums.

Just what I ordered

I have more pictures of the drawings i made with this ink but i feel like these are enough. Not really a pro when it comes to using the pentel brush pen but it's fun. This came with 3 ink cartridges so its a good purchase.

I didn't think they would last long. And, to be fair, they really can't. It uses a lot of ink to paint, really. I am pleased with them, given the givens. And I don't think it is unfair that they do get used up so quickly. It is just... physics, the way things are. I would purchase these again. And probably will in the future, as projects come up. They are even fun to write, or... paint... with. Not something I get to use every day. They can begin drying a bit. Just a bit of tinkering will fix it, until it is out of ink. I suppose there may be a way to refill it, I just doubt if the trouble would be worth the hassle and extra expenses involve. ymmv.
