Bearpaw Emma tall, gray, "Women's" size 12
These are very warm, rugged, comfortable, nice-looking ugg-type shearling boots. However, they run very small in length with very little room for toes, while at the same time they are also too wide. I normally wear a women's size 11, but I purchased size 12 since so many of the reviews say to go up a size, and I'm glad I did. These 12s are still a little on the short side & crowding my toes, while simultaneously slipping/too wide in the heel. Makes me think these are assembled on a Men's last, not Women's. Also, the shaft is not sheepskin but cowhide, with an extra layer of sheepskin/fleece on the inside, which makes them stand up & look really fat. Ok if you have thinner legs like I do, I guess, but on someone who has larger calves these boots simply would not work. I'm keeping this pair because the price was great, but next time I'll get Uggs.

Size to Small
I am size 10 and read review before I bought the right size. Some people mention perfect fit. This incorrect. So I bought size 10 and these are to small. I am well aware it will fit tight due to fur lining but I can feel the edge with my toe. So I had to pay money to send back for the next size up. I also want to mention I am previous owner if UGGs the top of these Bearpaw are wide compare the uggs. Overall these are nice looking soft boots.

Fit small
I normally wear a size 6 and my right foot is slightly bigger then my left. These boots were very small. The left foot was tighter then the right, which is odd since my right foot is a bit bigger. They were not tight in the calf. I too and a thin woman with thin calves. It was the foot section that fit too short at the toes. My toes bunched up at the front. This is annoying because now I have to pay for shipment back and shouldnt for poor manuf sizing.

Super Cute Comfy and Warm!
Ordered these boots here on amazon and just got them in the mail today. I already love them and haven't even worn them in the snow yet, and I can tell they are going to be wonderful. They are a little stiff in the top part when you first take them out of the box but when you start wearing them they loosen up and feel like slippers. And may I mention the warmth... I live in the state of Michigan where we usually have bitter bitter winters and I don't even believe I'll need to wear super thick socks with these on days below 20. I will definitely be putting the waterproof spray on them so the wet snow will not ruin them. I ordered the charcoal (grey) and the color is lovely...was going to buy black but I'm glad I didn't. I think they may run a little small...not in the calves but the feet part. I usually wear a 7 to a 7.5 but ordered an 8 because of reading some of the reviews. I think it just depends on what you legs and feet are like , my feet aren't wide but I'm glad I stuck with getting the 8 because they are a perfect fit. They are great boots I can tell. Ugg boots still continue to be one of the things most college girls feel the need to buy because they are the in thing, but I can not see spending 100 plus dollars on boots...most college kids don't have that kind of cash... nor do most of us have the liberty to buy a super expensive pair of boots every year. These seem to be a very good investment, really comfy & warm and will be wearing them I hope for years to come. If you are like me and want some stylish and yet practical boots I would definitely go for these Bearpaws. I plan to stick on this brand, heard so many good things about these boots and now I got my own pair...can't wait to try them out in our piled up snow and freezing winter this year :)!!!!

Ordering Nightmare...
I had ordered a pair of these Bearpaw boots in black from a seller (Shoecity) but in the wrong size (I am a true 7.5, but ordered a 7 because with Uggs you usually go down a size). The boots from Shoecity were great, comfortable, soft lining etc. but way too small. So I reordered the boots in the correct size (Size 8) from KIKS and I was astounded at the difference. While the boots from KIKS fit well, the fur lining was extremely pokey and itchy, to the point of being painful... And... After walking around the house in them a few minutes, the stitching at the arch on the left heel/ankle rubbed my ankle so bad I had to take them off. I had both pairs of boots at the same time so I was able to compare the two. I'm guessing incredibly poor quality control during manufacturing and with KIKS? Either way, I don't think I'll be buying from that seller again. Of course I had to pay for the return even after requesting that the fee be waived due to my experience. They also don't do exchanges, not that I would have trusted a new pair from them anyways. I ordered another size 8 (10 days ago, and they still have not arrived...Grrr!) from Labelust, so if I can't get it right this THIRD time around, I give up!!! I'd be happy to give higher rating if I can ever get a pair that fits and doesn't cause me pain!

Impossible to size!
I read all the reviews and looked at every pair of shoes in the wife's closet and ordered her size, 8. Too small. Based on the reviews these boots are huge, small, etc. I am now sending them back at my cost for a refund, because Amazon says it's not their fault. Guess I'll need to take the wife shopping. My recommendation is to not buy these boots without trying on the specific pair you are going to buy. Bad gift idea, although the wife said she appreciated the effort. I am, a frustrated husband.

Emma boots run very small
I just purchased this boot for my daughter. It is a beautiful boot and shipping/delivery was fine. However, this boot truly runs very small. My daughter is has a normal size foot. I anticipate one would have to buy atleast 1 1/2 sizes larger. I purchased the Emma Bear Paw 12" boot womens size 6 medium width. I also verified what a US womens 6M should be on a universal shoe size chart. My new boot is no where near the length it should be. I held the new boot against an Emu boot size 4 youth and my new Emma Bear Paw boot was still a fraction shorter than the old Emu boot size 4 youth. I telephoned the company and I am awaiting a return call from them to see what can be done. I am on the East coast and they are on West, therefore there is a time difference. I will re post a review when there has been a resolution. In the mean time, seriously buy a bigger size!!
